Pros:
-Snowshoe is a great, family oriented ski resort
-Every single person we encountered that worked at Snowshoe in any and every capacity was friendly and helpful
-The unit is located on the 1st floor and is very convenient to the Silver Creek ski slopes, tubing park, equipment rental and the onsite restaurant
-The unit was very clean and was well-stocked with towels, toiletries and dishes
-The lobby areas are clean, though outdated
-Property management company is friendly and responsive
Cons:
-There is absolutely no cell service long before you get to the mountain so GPS on your phone is useless and getting lost without a GPS is practically a certainty
-Although the facility has quiet hours late at night, they are not enforced. The night skiiers at silver creek turn the place into a party area late at night and the location of the unit makes it almost impossible to sleep through the partying until 2 am. The staff at silver creek tried to get the quiet hours enforced but it was almost impossible
-The unit is incredibly small. The pictures make it look much larger than it actually is. When the murphy bed is down, there is not room for two people to walk at the same time. It was just one adult and one small child on our trip and we were extremely cramped.
-The unit is very outdated. It is clean but old and has not been updated in quite some time.
-The "couch" is not a couch but is actually a small 2 cushion loveseat
-Bring lots of cash because the restaurant and the on-site store are incredibly expensive, even by resort standards.
-The provided walkie-talkies (which are a must-have on a mountain with such limited cell service did not work)
