“Staff were rude. At checkin she chose to answer many calls meaning checkin took a very long time No directions given. Tried to checkout and apparently the remote for air con had to be taken down but no one tells you this Staff were so rude Meals were below average. A Buffett dinner and breakfast but the serving trays were empty and not refilled The rooms were very noisy and aircon didn’t work so well Had to park a very long way away and two people damaged cars because of narrow road ”

“Sehr schöne Anlage mit Olivenbäumen, Pinien etc. Essen und Trinken ist gut (außer der Automatenkaffee zum Frühstück) und günstig. Apartments könnten etwas besser ausgestattet sein (Geschirr, Küchenutensilien). Schade, dass man Liegen und Sonnenschirme auch als Hotelgast zahlen muss. Achtung, der Pool ist ein Salzwasserpool! Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal!”

“Impossible contacter l’hôtel pour plus d’info . Le téléphone ne marche pas réservation faite mais impossible de le joindre bref j’ai du res rêver dans le ne deuxième hôtel et j’ai perdu mon argent sans pouvoir y arriver. Très mécontent e déçu. ”

“I love this place. I’ve stayed a few times and I’ll probably return. The staff, food and location are amazing!! There was however a persistent smell resembling backed up sewer. It wasn’t overwhelming but it was off putting. I walked onto a couple other floors and it was throughout the entire building. ”

“We had a reservation in hotel Apollo but 2 days before our arrival we were informed that it will close for the season We were relocated to Grand Hotel Portoroz. Nice spa-wellness center. Room spacious and well maintained. Breakfast very good. Dinner not up for a 5* hotel”

“The hotel is OK, the staff were friendly and the rooms were clean, however the hotel is NOT what I was specifically searching for. I had two preferences: A hotel in Piran with breakfast. As we arrived we found that Piran was over 5 kilometers away and that the hotel did not serve breakfast at this location, rather it was in their other complex in Portoroz. There were also very misleading pictures on the website, regarding the standard of the facility. Lastly, a return ticket to Piran by taxi...
