Apartamento con unas vistas al mar magnificas
Me ha parecido que el alquiler es perfecto. Es muy comodo, tiene todo lo necesario con plaza de parquing incluida. La propietaria muy amable y esta pendiente de los inquilinos.

Comfortable and great location
Location is perfect for walks along the sea into Skerries. Valerie is very welcoming and quick to respond to any questions. We also drove a short distance to Ardgillan Castle and spent half a day walking the gardens and forest paths.

Cosy apartment
The apartment had everything we needed and more. Our host, Valerie, was welcoming and the fresh scones and jam was a nice touch. She provided us with some bread, butter, sugar, tea and coffee and eggs so we didn't have to rush out to the shop on arrival. The apartment is homely and the bed comfortable. The location is perfect and we enjoyed our morning strolls along the beach to the harbour. We would not hesitate to stay again.

A Perfect Spot
My wife and I stayed here at the end of our trip. It was a great place to spend the last few days in Ireland. We were less than half an hour from the airport by car, and an hour away from downtown Dublin by train. Bru na Boinne was a half hour by car. The apartment was as clean and well maintained, the views and ocean sounds were beautiful, and Valerie was helpful with tips and suggestions. The check in was super simple. You get to fall asleep listening to the ocean so what more can you ask for? The parking was on street, but that wasn't a problem. I would recommend this place for a couple. I would stay here again.

Lovely cottage on the sea
Splendid little getaway cottage on the sea. Location could not have been better. The cottage is upstairs with a beautiful view of the water. We were greeted by our wonderful host, Valerie who supplied hot tea and delicious scones with butter and jam. After a long travel day, we could not have felt more pampered. Valerie checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and gave great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. The cottage was cozy, clean, well supplied, clean fluffy towels and a warm comforter. It was a great visit and would definitely recommend.

Be a Pilgrim not a Tourist
We use VRBO to experience what life is like in the country we are in. Valerie's spot in Skerries right on the water with a walk along the shore to town gave us that experience and more. Our host was fantastic providing true Irish hospitality. From Skerries we were able to travel to Malahide and Howth by rail. These 3 towns along the north shore of County Dublin are fantastic visits. But our return each day to this place on the water watching the sunset was special. We made friends with the restaurant staff and saw them on the street to say high. A great way to experience true Ireland.

Sensationelle Sicht
Wir waren mit unseren zwei Jungs (4,8) in Skerries. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und hat einen sensationellen Meerblick, genauso wie die Terrasse (nicht direkt an der Wohnung). Wir hatten wegen des Teppichs unter dem Esstisch ein wenig Angst, weil die Kinder viel kleckern. Im Wohnzimmer gibt es keine Jalousien o.Ä.. Valerie war sehr freundlich und immer ansprechbar, zur Ankunft gab es Gebäck, Brot, Eier, Milch, Butter und Marmelade. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wonderful Stay
Stayed at Valeries Flat for a week with my sister and it was wonderful. The flat is as described and the view of the water just wonderful. Valerie was warm and very helpful. She helped us with directions, cab info and even drove us to the train station, which is about a 20-minute walk from the flat. The flat had all the items we needed, most importantly to my sister and I... coffee. We would definitely stay again, as the flat and Skerries was just wonderful. Thank you, Valerie, for a wonderful stay.

Lovely apartment in fantastic beach front location
Beautiful apartment in a fantastic setting. We spent a lot of time looking out the windows at the wildlife - seals every day.No road between the apartment and the sea front, you are right there. Large bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Valerie was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Local supermarket was 5 min walk. We arrived by train and that was walkable with light luggage.

Erholung direkt am Meer
Wir waren zu zweit für eine Woche Gast bei Valerie. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und es gab eine kleine Stärkung nach der Anreise. Es gibt einen Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus, die Wohnung befindet sich im ersten OG mit direktem Blick aufs Meer. In der Küche findet man alles was man zum Kochen braucht. Die Terrasse teilt man sich mit der Eigentümerin. Das Haus ist ein wenig hellhörig was uns allerdings nicht ganz so gestört hat. Die Anbindung von Skerries nach Dublin ist perfekt mit der Bahn. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und danken Valerie für Ihre Mühe und den vielen Tipps.

Second stay better than the first.
Listening to the Sea from our White Cottage was so soothing. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and a pint are a short walk. Valerie was very accommodating. We liked sitting out on the patio with complete privacy. We watched the sun come up over Skerries and set over Balbriggan. Great location. Dublin is a short drive south. North Ireland is a short drive north. Galway and the Cliffs of Moher due west. Great stay. Thank you.

Perfect location overlooking the shores Skerries Harbour, just north of Dublin.
Very clean, very quit. Our questions were answered about as soon as we thought of them. We will be returning for a second stay in four weeks.

Excellent host but property very tired and in need of refurbishment particularly bathroom.
Skerries is a great area and the owner, Valerie, very welcoming. However, the bathroom needs refurbishment as does the kitchen which is not well equipped. There is a sun deck but the photographs are misleading as the deck is shared and overlooked by the owners flat.
