Cozy unit
The Stowaway is a cozy unit with a great location - steps away from the marina, park, and downtown, but tucked in an alley with little traffic.
The unit is well furnished and equipped with helpful amenities but noise from the upstairs space (footsteps and all water use whooshing through the pipes) is really noisy - particularly at 2:00 a.m. We did not use the car, bikes, or kayaks. Use of the car would have been nice, as there is virtually no public or rental car transportation available at the airport (we had a friend pick us up) but the process was unclear on how to get the keys. The welcome letter in the unit is outdated and needs to be replaced with current property management contacts.
If you are a heavy sleeper, all other aspects of this rental were fantastic and Sitka was incredible.
