We stayed in apartment- and ate at pub in Portinscale only a 15 minute walk into Keswick lovely walk. Apartment clean , everything you need . The building is Victorian, plenty of room in apartment set in lovely grounds. It is dated, and the hall entrance could do with repainting and new carpets to make it more inviting for guests. “Spent a week there with family and dogs. Very clean and everything you could need The views are beautiful. One thing to note, if you take a dog make sure you have long leads and a torch, as nowhere enclosed to let them off before bed or first thing. Both bathrooms are en-suite as well as opening to the corridor which was a peek we didn’t expect. The perfect place for a relaxing family trip and highly recommend. ”
