“It's hard to imagine that this jewel is just barely off the highway. You really feel much further back into the mountains. The views are spectacular! The hidden porch, which we didn't know anything about before arriving, was awesome. Another spot to enjoy the views from. Late September was an ideal time to enjoy the color changes all around. If in Ouray, or even close, I would definitely opt to stay at this cabin! I shouldn't be telling anyone about it! Must hoard for myself. Kidding. ...

Not the best location for pets as you are right next to a busy road with no fences ,but we made it work. “We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The Mountain View was absolutely breathtaking — one of the best we’ve ever seen. The house was spotless, very well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We loved watching deer pass through the property, adding to the peaceful, nature-filled atmosphere. The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to explore. “We had an incredible ski trip! The house is absolutely beautiful and met all of our needs perfectly. The views were breathtaking, and it snowed as we drove and it made it feel like a true winter wonderland. Skiing was fantastic, and the resort being so close to the house was a huge bonus. We definitely needed 4WD to get to the house, but it was totally worth it! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay—it was an unforgettable experience!”
