Loved it. The host was very good in terms communication and giving accurate instructions about getting to the hut. He also prepared a wonderful breakfast. The place is so beautiful and has wonderful views all around especially of Lake Thun. It's a little warm in the summer though, no A/C and no window screens (so if you want to open the windows for some air you'd get bitten by mosquitoes)

Great views on a clear day

We enjoyed our stay at Swisshut. Nardi is friendly and was very helpful. The bedroom was nice and large with very comfortable beds. The shared living accommodation is large and bright with a cosy central stove and tea/coffee making facilities. There is only one shared bathroom, with a second toilet downstairs. Not really enough when several rooms are in use. The location is quiet, at 1000m and with stunning views. Unfortunately a big downside for us was the road access. A very narrow road, with poor access to the drive/ parking area. Be sure to have good winter tyres if there is any chance of snow or ice. We got bogged down on the roadside grass and had to call a breakdown truck. Overall, we highly recommend Swisshut.

Nice accommodation with a great alpine view.

The only ' inconvenience ' is going there without a car. The buses are restricted to early evening hours.

Chaletfeeling in schöner Umgebung

In steilem Gelände sehr schön und ruhig gelegen. Wunderbar zum Erholen. ÖV Anbindung ok, 15-20 Min. von nächster Bushaltestelle. Gute Restaurantauswahl in 30 Min. Fussmarsch. Gastgeber freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit, gönnt seinen Gästen Ruhe.

엄청난숙소

스위스여행중 산중턱에있는집들을보면서 저런곳에누가사나궁금했는데 바로이숙소가 그중턱에있더군요 네비게이션이 길을너무가파른길로알려줘서 수동으로운전하다 수명이10년은줄어든거같습니다 하지만 튠호수가바로앞에보이고 산들이보이는 엄청난전경 그리고 깔끔한 집안은 모든걸잊게했네요 차량으로이동하시면서 꼭!!!운전잘하시는분만 추천드려요

romantic, quiet and typical Swiss place

Awesome place to stay!!! Relaxing and great Swiss life experienced! Thank you so much for a warm welcome Katrin- excellent costumer service, friendly and sweet person. Breakfast was delicious with homemade bread. We will return at this place again this summer.

Incredible view from a cozy chalet.

We couldn't stop taking pictures of the incredible view of the Alps and lake from this cozy chalet high on the hillside. We loved sitting on the balcony looking at the view. The owner, Nardi fixed us a healthy and delicious breakfast and suggested places we could go. The chalet was clean and quaint. It has 4 rooms and we enjoyed getting to know the people in the other rooms. This is a quiet and relaxing retreat. We can't wait to go back!

Great place to see the alps and relax

The B&B was nice. way up in the hills, above the fog so we had a great view of the Alps. The owner is very nice and friendly and helpful. The drive up to the house is typical mountain drive (steep, winding roads) and is a bit hard in fog but the view and room were well worth is.

Great stay in the heart of beautiful Swiss scenery

A wonderful setting overlooking the lake and mountains. A lovely wooden chalet, very clean and spacious. Great breakfast, healthy and plentiful. Nardi the owner could not have been more helpful. Only negatives - a wooden building brings sound issues with conversations in other parts of the building easily heard - and sharing a bathroom is a bit of a problem when all rooms are in use. A brilliant place to stay. Would warmly recommend

Ace Place!

Booked 3 nights at Swisshut & from arrival had what we would call a home from home experience. Our host, Nardi was attentive and considerate, providing advice on places to visit, restaurants and other top tips. Our room was perfect, with balcony, access to the well appointed shared bathroom, lounge, kitchen and outside seating areas which were tranquil and with amazing views. Breakfast was filling & healthy. The location is really outstanding and this B&B really is a Swiss Hut (House) experience - one we will be returning to whether summer or winter. Thanks for a fabulous time!

Underbart ställe!

Jag och min fru älskade detta familjära ställe. Att man delar toalett med de tre andra rummen gör faktiskt ingenting utan bidrar till känslan av att man bor där på riktigt. Tyvärr var det dimma när vi var där så vi såg inte de fantastiska vyerna som vi vet var där bakom dimman. Vi hade gärna stannat där fler nätter och kommer förhoppningsvis tillbaka. Mannen på hotellet, Nardi var en utmärkt värd och fick oss att känna oss som hemma ganska omedelbart. Ett hett tips är att be Nardi göra sin ostfondue. Världsklass!
