The Greatest Place in Sonoita!
This is the second time we have chosen this home in as many years. It is perfectly located near what is available in Sonoita, the many wineries, and Patagonia. The home is extremely well appointed, especially with the Moccamaster coffee maker. The views from nearly every window of the home, are breathtaking. Communication with Kathryn and Emily is easy and accommodating. If you are interested in visiting the area, this is the home for you!

Wow wow wow
Cant say enough about the entire home and property. The home is situated on a hill with floor to ceiling windows on the entire front of the house and sides.with views of 4 mountain ranges. Climb the short hill out back and yet another mountain view.sunrises and sunsets are out of this world. Then the mule deer that come almost dayly and sometimes as close as 50 feet out the kitchen walls of windows.they even stay if we or us and our 90 pound choc.lab go outside. Beautiful animals...and just down the road you see javelinas and pronghorns which are amazing as we dont have these in michigan.the 2 beds are beyond comfy and the bedding and massive pillows are wonderful...numerous outside chairs on 3 sides of the house to kick back and absorb the views...a short drive here or there are canyon trails and the arizonia trail which you can do different parts long or short. I could go on and on just a great place to stay. We spent 2 glorious months there and made reservations for 2 more months next yr. Also had no issues or problems so we never had to contact the host except to thank her for the just made that morning loaf of bread we had when we arrived that afternoon.it was delicious. Anyone thinking of making a trip to sonoita Should definitely reserve this home you will love it.

Quiet, restful and comfortable
The home is in a rural area with a view to the east across a open dry prairie. Beautifully decorated with artful touches. It is way outside Tucson and google maps led us to the wrong address, so just be careful navigating. But it is well worth the effort to find it. Only wish we had time to visit the trails and vineyards on our stay. Host is very helpful as we had to a adjust our stay at the last moment and she was understanding.

Good morning, Arizona!
Beautiful sunrises and views enjoyed through expansive windows. Very comfortable house, has all you need and centrally located for visiting wineries, canyons, San Pedro riparian area and Patagonia. Canelo Hills Arizona Trail section nearby also. Perfect stay.

A Remarkable View Propery
This is a remarkable place with stunning sunrise and sunset views. The house is perched in a slight hill and with the floor to ceiling windows, you can see three mountain ranges. The kitchen is beautifully appointed and the aesthetic touches and textiles throughout are lovely. The rooms are comfortably decorated and it’s a great place to relax. The surrounding grasslands are fascinating and the birds are plentiful. If you are in this area, this is a special home.

Spectacular in every way
Beautiful house, stunning property, excellent area, extremely responsive and caring host. My wife and I stayed here for two weeks and it was perfect. The host clearly put a lot of thought and care into designing the house and property and it shows. Absolutely loved the seating area in the kitchen and all the outside seating areas. All in all a great stay. If you're looking in the Sonoita area this get be beat.

Tucked away in a serene location, this house offers tranquility and natural beauty. Great windows allowed for light to flood the house during the day. Many seating locations around the property allowed us to enjoy the serenity of the area. A great place to slow down and enjoy time.

Excellent getaway
Everything was even better than expected. We were looking for a quiet place to spend the weekend with our two dogs. Check-in was a breeze and the property had everything we needed. We and the dogs enjoyed walking around the property, especially the nice little trail to the high point of the property with spectacular views. Perfect spot to just relax or use as a base camp to visit wine country.

We truly enjoyed our time at L'Alba. It was perfect for a family of four. Love all of the windows for wildlife viewing (deer came right to the door of home,) and pure relaxation. We'd love to return again next year.

Amazing Place
The owners have taken a lot of care in decorating and stocking this home. They have thought of many small details that make your stay even more enjoyable. The land is amazing as well with trails to enjoy the property and has great views. I highly recommend renting this property.

Best home in Southeastern AZ’s wine country!
The property was beautiful and so peaceful! The floor to ceiling windows is such a fantastic feature. It allows for guests to experience the beauty of the landscape while at the dinner table or when you are simply walking in the home. The home is very well appointed making it a perfect place if you prefer cooking at home. We especially enjoyed the Moccmaster coffee maker. Great coffee! Overall, our two-day stay was one of the most peaceful getaways my wife, our two dogs and I have experienced in a long time. The host is responsive and attentive making the experience even better. We will be returning soon.

L’Alba for Hiking
L’Alba is on top of our rental list. Activities, views, quiet, kitchen appliances and cooking Utensils. Beds and furnishings were very comfortable. The house was very clean with many thoughtful amenities. We were visited by deer, small javelina family, rabbit and many birds enjoying the 10 acre grassland. Found trails, State and National forests and parks including access to a number of trailheads along the Arizona Trail. We loved exploring the back roads, visiting 3 bird sanctuaries and 3 lakes and quaint towns. Many activities within the Arizona Mountain Sky Islands central to L’Alba within 30 min -1.5 hour drive. Definitely come and enjoy the amazing sunrises and glowing sunsets! We will visit again. 12 days was not long enough!

Awesome Desert Retreat!
L’Alba is everything in the listing and so much more!! The property is so peaceful and quiet! Loved the sunrises and sunsets! Saw a mountain lion and many birds in the fields around the house! We had such a wonderful time; only regret is that we can’t stay longer! Emily and Kathryn were great hosts; very attentive and always responded quickly to emails! Thank you for sharing your home with us! We will definitely be back!!!

Absolutley beautiful location. Couldn't ask for a better place to watch the sunrise or sunset. Kathryn is a top notch host and the house is impeccabble. I would love to come back when thw weather is a little warmer to sit.out at night and star gaze!!!

Our stay at L’Alba was wonderful! Great views, cozy and comfortable home! We even had mule deer visit us right behind the house! Our 3 dogs loved the 10 acres they had to themselves to run and play in. Definitely recommend this place! The hosts were so accommodating as well,

great location - owner is great
Our check in process was very easy, and they had all the wi-fi info and important stuff easily displayed unlike some other VRBO I have stayed at where it is buried in a book somewhere. The owner was very responsive to the one or two questions we had and was very accommodating. Sonoita is out in the country but there are two markets in town, a brewery, a couple restaurants, etc. You are also a short scenic drive from larger places like Tucson, Sierra Vista, and Nogales. The property itself is quite nice, very well laid out and well lit and fully equipped with everything you would need. It has large windows, deer walking around daily, and views of the mountains. There is also a loop around the neighborhood (on dirt roads) that is about 2.9 miles round trip from the front door if you like to get your steps in. The owners also put a couple benches up on the hill, one facing the sunrise and one facing the sunset. I would highly recommend this rental.
