“Five ryokans spanning 3 prefectures over 8 days in search of classical beauty of fall foliage in Northern Honshu culminated at this place. It's not the most luxurious nor the best amenities, but one word to sum it up: timeless. The onsen facility is old but well maintained, however it is somehow the most memorable. “The front desk staff and all the supporting staff including the dining room were fantastic We thoroughly enjoyed the Onsen. The breakfast and dinner were phenomenal and classic Japanese. The Japanese style rooms are fairly sparse and simple. Overall, a wonderful experience. The source of first trip to Japan and our first time staying in Ryokan Onsen but surely won’t be our last. Thanks to Mr. Suzuki and staff for a very memorable experience.”
