My husband and I spent a weekend at the 1902 cabin to celebrate our 20th anniversary and we really enjoyed our time there. Christine was very friendly and quick to answer any of our questions. The keyless entry worked out wonderfully for us as we had arrived Friday evening and were able to go right in and not worry about physically checking in somewhere.
The cabin is exactly as described. It's cozy, nestled into the pines, and quite charming! As soon as we stepped out of our vehicle we were enveloped in the pines' aroma. The fact that the cabin is dog friendly made all the difference for us.
We loved how close the cabin is to the state park, as we spent our days hiking there and enjoying the fall colors. Although most of our meals were eaten out, had we wanted to prepare something, there were a variety of kitchen supplies available such as pots, pans, large bowls, knifes, pizza cutter, silverware, dishes, etc. Even Pam cooking spray! Since we were eating out, we appreciated the restaurant recommendations in the binder on the table. Knob and Kettle was delicious!
The bed in the loft was very comfortable to sleep in, although I did bring my pillows from home. The in-floor heating was soooo nice. We were plenty warm on the chilly fall evenings.
We hope to return to the cabin again but with our children next time, to share this little treasure with them!
