Perfect size for our extended family! Kids could hang out in the basement, which has its own walkout to the hot tub. Watch the virtual tour. It’s just as pictured with some updates. The dock size worked for the pontoon boat we rented. This part of the lake is nestled away so if you plan to hike, bike, go out to eat, and shop, this is not an ideal location. It was great for us because our young adult children wanted to swim, fish and tube all day. And we cooked all week; kitchen had everything. Full-sized grocery store is 35 min away. There is no flat part to the yard so we didn’t use our outdoor games. Instead, we enjoyed the private dock, hot tub & pool table. It is a full 15 min just to get out of the wooded, hilly “neighborhood” of lake homes to a gas station, which has hot pizza and many last minute items if you are cooking and forgot something. There are several houses and docks around this house but it still felt private. It is off the main straightaway of this part of the lake so the waters are calm for swimming while still being able to watch boats and skiers go by. Just beautiful. For early August we were surprised how breezy and comfortable it was. Only really felt hot in the sun. Partially sun/partially shaded deck uphill from the dock was great place to read and watch kids swim. We did not get to use our mountain bikes as the only bike trails we could locate were further than we wanted to haul the bikes on the back of our SUV. Had a great time! Would rent again.
