Will be returning every Anniversary going forward!
My husband and I visited from NC for our one year wedding anniversary. The house was the perfect size for two people. It is only 15 minutes from popular Pigeon Forge attractions and restaurants. If you want to go out to eat locally, there are plenty of local spots within walking distance, including the heavenly roast coffee shop and some local food trucks. The wears valley food truck park is only a 3 minute drive. The house was fully stocked with every appliance, pot, or pan that you could possibly need. They have a coffee pot available as well as a keurig. We were also intrigued to even find a crockpot in the kitchen! Everything was well maintained and spotless. The hot tub was clean and very relaxing with a beautiful view of the mountains. Jim was also very responsive to any questions that we had. The road noise mentioned in the description is hardly noticeable at all and didn’t cause any issues. Pool table and arcade games were all in great condition. The fireplace was awesome to have, even if you don’t want heat you can just turn on the lights for ambiance. We cannot wait to come back again next year!

Th Bear Stop
We had such a great visit to the smokies! Our place was fantastic. Super clean, cozy and perfect for a couple. Location was awesome and we checked out several of the Wears Valley shops and restaurants. We live on a busy road so the traffic didn’t bother us at all. We highly recommend The Bear Stop!

This place was amazing!! Super clean and equipped with everything you could need or want! Only downfall was it is right on a main busy road. Only other thing I would change is maybe a safety bar in the shower. Would definitely do this cabin again!!!

This place was great!!! It was so clean & comfortable. It was modern with everything we needed. The only con was it being so close to the road & hearing all of the traffic, but that was noted in the description of the property so we knew upfront. I would highly recommend it & would stay again.

Great property that was clean and well stocked. The owner communicates clearly and promptly. Our only minor complaint would be the amount of chemicals in the hot tub. We only used it once, for about 15 minutes, during the week we were there because the chemicals were so strong.

THIS CABIN!
This cabin was very clean and comfortable. It was located right off Wears Valley Road which is a busy highway, but that did not bother us at all. In fact, that made it so easy to get to all the fun, restaurants, and attractions in the area. Check in was a breeze. Looking forward to renting it again!

Wears Valley is a great place and only about 20 minutes from light #3 in Pigeon Forge. We have stayed in many cabins over the years in the Smoky Mountains and this is one of the nicest and well maintained. Only downside, as the owner informs, if the noise from the traffic. Weekdays not too bad. Saturday night was the worst, but calms down at 11pm and starts back at 7am. If you are looking for a very reasonably priced getaway, you can't beat this location and cabin/house. Would stay there again.

Vacation in the Smokey mountains
My husband and I booked this house for a 10 day vacation. We were very impressed with this cabin. Very clean, beautifully decorated and well stocked. Hot tub was definitely a bonus, and the mountains views were amazing. We did quite a few attractions and you were about 9miles from the parkway with all the attractions. We absolutely loved it there. A few buildings down go and get a fried pie, they are delicious!!
