No internet and Poor Communication
We were so excited for this stay. While Gatlinburg was wonderful and the location of the stay was great, not having internet and the lack of updates from our contact was extremely disappointing. We never had internet, which caused issues for our group. We weren’t able to book things from the home, including an uber. We had to find a spot outside that one phone would work and phone a friend back home in Oklahoma to ask her to book the Uber for us. And we had one guest who spent the majority of the trip having to try to make up for work while we were in town and there was internet. There was no way for any of the small kids to watch any movies at bed time. Aside from the lack of internet being horribly frustrating, I had to ask for the updates that I did get regarding the status of the internet, as we were told it would be fixed multiple times. It was never fixed and the fact that updates weren’t given was very unprofessional. There was not transparency with the fact that we were not going to get internet during our stay. I feel like the whole situation was handled very poorly.
