Interesting place
Stay was okay. Place needs a little love and also needs animal control. There was a couple animals running around between that roof and ceiling. The animals would each other every night and it was loud. Its a little further away from things then what i hoped. hopedbut

Dirty and uncomfortable
At first glance the place looked clean but on closer inspection we found treat cake wrappers under the bed and in the beam in the cinema room. The lighting is do dark we had buy higher watt bulbs to use while we were there. The tv is just a couple feet from the couch which seats 3. There is no room for a group of people to sit and watch tv together. The chairs and couch were so uncomfortable that we would have to move from place to place about every 30 minutes or so. I will not be staying here again.

Great weekend getaway
We enjoyed our stay everything was nice and clean. We had a little snafu with the refrigerator. The door got stuck closed while trying to maneuver it open the door shelf got cracked. I reported it to Vicasa so sorry about that but not sure how we could’ve avoided that from happening. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay thank you.

Nice getaway
It was a very comfortable stay. Mantle needs dusted in the living room and kitchen cabinet doors need a good scrubbing. Maybe have cleaners check the grill, someone prior to us grilled something woth barbeque sauce and ut was VERY sticky. Eqsy to get to.

Nice place but there were lots of bugs inside. I killed/released many bugs a day. The grass was also quite high. We had a difficult time finding a place to take our dogs out.

Frustrating
This is the second time we have stayed at this cabin and while it is nice, there are several issues that need to be addressed. First of all, there’s an insect problem. I realize this is a cabin in the woods and bugs and pests are going to be around the property but during the course of our stay, I killed at least five different types of insects inside the cabin. There needs to be a more through extermination process to prevent this if possible. Second, there is only one bedroom with a TV in it and the reason that bedroom has a TV is because we brought TVs with us last year and my friend had upgraded and just left her old TV there. This needs to be fixed. It’s ridiculous to stay somewhere that is as costly as this place is and there not be TVs in all of the bedrooms. We brought TVs again with us this year and it is somewhat of a pain to have to travel with TVs. We also had issues with the air conditioning not working properly. We had two full days where it was so hot inside the cabin that it made it pretty difficult to even enjoy being inside. It was cooler outside than it was inside. Overall the stay was good but there are definitely some improvements that could be made to improve the quality of the stay.

Perfect say for us!
We loved this place! We have read the reviews ahead of time and texted the property manager to make sure everything was taken care of, specially cleaning and the hot tub. They eventually replied( and were very nice and said it’s was taken care of. And it was, everything was perfect! We have no complains, there was plenty to do at the cabin and it was very comfortable as well! Definitely recommend!

Disappointing Smoky Bear Cinema Experience
We stayed in Smoky Bear Cinema in December 2023. We were very interested in all of the amenities that were offered, the location and what we saw on the pictures. Communication prior to our arrival was good and timely. From our arrival on, we were left a bit disappointed. First of all, we went to make a sandwich for one of our kids and upon checking the silverware drawer, we were met with a few dead insects. We checked the rest of the kitchen and were met with more negative sights. These included droppings and accumulated dust throughout the entire cabin. We went as far as to review all beds and bedrooms for any more critters. We immediately contacted Vacasa and got a reply that they received it and were looking into it. We received similar replies for the next two days but very little was done. They stated they were going to send out a pest expert and someone to clean, but this never happened. The stairway to the second floor appeared to be disconnected from the wall. It functioned fine, but was a bit concerning. Cleaning was almost non-existent. Communication was extremely poor which made for a sub-optimal stay (although they did offer a day's refund as compensation and that was appreciated. This is my first really disappointing experience on VRBO and I hope it was my last.

Beautiful Cabin - HORRIBLE Customer Service from Vacasa!
Overall the cabin was beautiful. We lost all plumbing the 1st night there. Long story short, I spent approximately 14 hours calling and messaging regarding coordinating to fix things. My instructions NOT to enter the property while we were not on site were totally ignored by their cleaning crew even after NUMEROUS warnings we had an old dog inside and they would run the risk of being bitten. The maintenance man was very nice and respected our request not to enter the property and he was very punctual when he came back to check on everything again. Had it not been for the cleaning crew entering the property unauthorized I would've given a better review. Then financial compensation was very difficult to get them to agree on and I still feel we are owed more in compensation due to the major inconvenience this caused and the constant battle back and forth for 14 hours. I had 6 people including a handicapped father that had to drive 10 mins to the nearest gas station just to be able to use the toilet. So without posting the disturbing photos of the lack of cleanliness as well as the difficult and lack of communication with Vacasa my recommendation would be DO NOT RENT FROM VACASA! But the cabin and all of the amenities (IF they work) were wonderful. I would rent the property again if it was not managed by Vacasa.

disappointed
The cabin was not what we thought it would be. The positive is three king size bedrooms and three bathrooms. The living room only had seating for 4 people and we booked for 6. My wife and I had to sit in the dinning room. The TV only picked up channels like Roku. No local channels at all. There was only 1 TV in one of the bedrooms. The kitchen was small. The parking says enough for 4 cars. Well that is true, but if someone wants to get out then someone has to move their car or a couple of cars to let them out. We ended up drinking bottled water. We had to kill 4 cockroaches while there. Sorry, about the review. We have always had great reviews when we go through VRBO. This one not so good. Mike

We rented the cinema cabin in TN for a few friends for a weekend trip it was nice cabin with great amenities including the pool table and the arcade games. The hot tub did not work for us but we had enough other items to do.
