We had a great stay here! The cabin was so nice and decorated for Christmas! If you want to be away from the crowds and traffic then this is a great area! Wears Valley is a quaint little town in itself to shop and explore.

We loved our stay and it was a perfect location for what we wanted to see & do in the area. Saw a bear 2x by the house. So fun. Arrive before dark your first time going in. Easier to find.

Smoky Mountain Retreat
Lovely log home backing onto the National park. We loved the location. The house was beautiful & had almost everything we needed. The hot tub was especially nice after a day of hiking. My only recommendation would be that if you want a fire, pick up wood, kindling & paper in town. We didn’t realize that would not be provided for at least the first night, and it was too late to find it. Coming from Alberta, we stay in the Rocky Mountains quite a bit & have always had wood provided. Other than that, I would highly recommend it.

Short business trip
Two of us stayed for a short business trip (4 days) and this house was situated almost equally between pigeon forge and gatlinburg yet away from the bustle and in the foothills. House was clean and cute and provided all the starter items we needed. Any issues/communications we had were addressed immediately. Would stay again!

Nice
The cabin was nice and clean. When I tried to wash clothes I had trouble. We loss water to the cabin for several hours and were told it was the well and we would get the water back after awhile. I was worried about losing water again so didn’t wash clothes brought dirty clothes home. The water did come back and we never had problem again. Would have been nice to have more start up products make sure you bring soap!

Overall experience
The property and location were great. The towns and roads in the area were at best 2 stars! Because of some sort of car rally or show the area and roads were overrun with poor man’s Grand Prix cars and drivers. A temporary issue but enough that we are not likely to return.

Safe and Amazing
I was on my way to NC for a week away stay in the mountains, but the hurricane came as I was on the way. It was a scramble to find something safe and peaceful while on the road on such short notice. This place was my saving grace. I was all but ready to leave to go home after being in a hotel a couple days, but I decided to look one more time, and this cabin was IT! The hosts were so kind and accommodating. Beat came by literally every morning. It wasn’t over crowded, and it was in just the right location to be away from it all but close enough if you needed to grab anything. It was exactly what I needed. I highly recommend this place and hope to go back again!

Clean, comfortable and quiet. We were very happy with the location away from the busyness of Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, but still close to the national park. It was a quick drive into Wears Valley where we found some great restaurants.

A sweet retreat for the family indeed!
This lodge is perfect for a family or friends retreat, or even a honeymoon for couples. Each morning you will wake up to a chorus of birds tweeting in the woods. Opening the curtains, rays of sunshine paint everything in the wood in lively, splendid colors. Open your door and sit by the front porch with a cup of joe, you will have the chance to observe some black bears wondering around. We are honored to have bears visiting each morning and evening. Don’t worry, there are a few other houses around and you are not on their diet. The house is located right by the national park and close to several trials of different levels of difficulty. The house is meticulously decorated to provide the vibe of “living in the woods.” Pack your favorite foods for the duration of the stay and enjoy!

Perfect cabin for 2 couples!
Wonderful place! Each couple had their own bathroom off the bedroom. Kitchen was well equipped The beds slept well. We were there to see fireflies in Elkmont, and this location was only 15 minutes from there. Best surprise was mother bear and 2 cubs in back porch one morning. Would definitely go back.

Three night retreat.
My sister and I stayed here for three nights, at the end of our vacation, just to relax. It was perfect to just enjoy the mountains from both porches and the hot tub. We had a bear sighting which thrilled is. The cabin is beautiful and very clean.

Peaceful way to enjoy the Smokies
The cabin is in a quiet neighborhood on a cul de sac at the top of a fairly steep road. It is a good escape from the excitement of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, but still fairly convenient (~25 min) to get into town and very close to one of the park entrance's. The cabin was clean and nicely equipped and the property manager was communicative and friendly.
