“What a great cottage with amazing views. Located on a quiet lake. Enjoyed most of our time down by the water on the large dock. Kids had a good time fishing. Was a bonus having a gazebo down by the water to hang out when you needed to get out of the sun or wanted lunch down by the water. The only downside was the hot tub was not working. ”

“Eight months after booking, property manager advised that booked dates not available. We changed booking dates accordingly, flights, etc. which was inconvenient. Previous renter were very dirty and disrespectful of property and while I'm sure cleaners did what they could in time allotted, we had to sweep, clean a bathroom and wash some bed sheets. Property is beautifully located and well equipped, with good communication with property manager.”

The boat house allowed us to remain shaded ( or out in the sun) so that we could watch our children enjoy the water trampoline, fish off of the dock, use the paddle board, canoe or kayaks. We had our own boat so added activities were water skiing and wake boarding. Never a dull moment! So many memories.”

“It has everything one could need - it is just small - nothing deceptive about the online description at all. Quiet with a truly lovely road across the street that I walked down at least three times every day I was there with the dogs - never did see a house - met a nice fellow on a bicycle and two cars, both of which stopped while I leashed the dogs. Owner is wonderful.”

“Amy was wonderful host and ambassador for the Port Carling/Muskoka area making some great suggestions as to sights to see. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable and the hot tub was a bonus!. Any hicups we had were quickly addressed and corrected. One of the best features was sitting on the large dock with a refreshment in hand and watching the antique boats cruising by, all in all a great location for a relaxing holiday, thank you Amy, ”

“We had a wonderful week in this cabin. While indoors might be not the coziest. The backyard is a wonderful place to spend your days. Sitting by the river. Swimming. Kayaking. Make fires at night. Listening to the complete silence. Very nice place to just unwind and read some good books. We had some problems with the toilet/septic tank. But it was all taken care of by the owner very quickly and friendly.”

“The children enjoyed their time at the cottage. There's enough activities for everyone to do (kayaking, canoeing, pedal boat. They also have firepit where you can roast marshmallows. The property has an ample space to play freebies, badminton, volleyball and basketball. The cottage is a little outdated but it is spacious. Our overall experience was great. Ali was great too..We will go back to this property again..”

Upon reaching out it was not clarified and ended up being $75 per dog on arrival. It would be appreciated if that was communicated prior. The host persisted that I must use another form of payment while standing outside...
