The Cottage at Washington Harbour se encuentra en una laguna natural de agua salada junto al Estrecho de Juan De Fuca a unos 2, 5 millas al este de Sequim. Ubicado en un refugio de vida silvestre privado de 190 acres, un paraíso para observadores de aves, kayakistas y amantes de la naturaleza. La última casa en una calle sin salida significa una estancia tranquila y pacífica. A minutos de compras en Sequim y de actividades al aire libre ilimitadas en el Parque Nacional Olympic y el Olympic Discovery Trail. La cabaña tiene vistas a la laguna, el estrecho, Protection Island y Mount Baker. Dos nidos de águila calva activos se encuentran en las costas norte y sur de la laguna donde viven las águilas durante todo el año. Focas, nutrias, garzas azules y más todo fuera de su puerta. Lovely Lagoon
Very nice cottage on an exceptional property. The lagoon view is magnificent and full of life with birds coming and going by the hour. Our dog loved walking the grassy lawn by the shore. The kitchen amenities were exceptional, we wanted for nothing. We look forward to another stay!

Nice Getaway
This VRBO was very nice. The weather was a little crummy so my wife & I ended up spending much of one day inside...which was fine cuz the wife enjoyed one of the puzzles and I nearly finished my book. This place is at the end of the road so essentially no traffic. It was a short walk past some friendly donkeys and a working farm to Gibson spit. The tide flats were home to bunches of water fowl, some otters, and a seal. The solarium was a nice place to enjoy morning coffee or watch the sun set on Mt. Baker. We'd stay here again.

A real gem
Wonderful, as always. Glorious sunrises and sunsets from the sunroom windows. Well stocked, could make just about any meal you could imagine. Basic condiments in the fridge and pantry staples, including sugar and spices. Grocery store just 3 miles away.

Private location with beautiful views
I booked this as a last minute weekend getaway with my partner and our dog. The peacefulness and privacy was unrivaled. The house was very clean, with everything we needed for our stay. Directions from the host were very clear, and I did not need to contact them for clarification on anything. There are basically no neighbors to this property, just a view across the lagoon and out into the sound. A large area of sandy beach is accessible via a private bridge after a short drive down a private road. Even though this sand spit belongs to the property owners we still saw a few other people walking around on it. However, this is at a distance from the house itself. The land the house is on is basically protected from the outside world. Inside the house, things were very cozy. The solarium was a nice place to sit and look at birds through my spotting scope while eating breakfast. We built a fire in the wood stove during the evening. Overall this was a wonderful stay and I have no complaints!

The Perfect Cozy Getaway: Birds, Lights, and a Lot of Fun!
10/10! My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at this charming cottage. Bird watching from the sunroom was a highlight, and we highly recommend it for a relaxing experience. The cottage was the perfect size for the two of us and had everything we needed to prepare light meals for the weekend. There were also a collection of games to keep us entertained. The town had so much to offer in early December, including a festive tractor light parade(yes, you read that right), a holiday craft bazaar, and numerous light displays. We especially recommend visiting the holiday light display near the casino—it was stunning. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this rental to our friends!

Wildlife Viewing- Cozy - Comfort
We’re Sequim locals, and invited family here for a long weekend to stay with us at the cottage. I can’t say enough about how great our stay was. The cottage is very clean and comfortable, and stocked with everything you need. The sunroom was perfect for reading, watching eagles, seals and waterfowl or just taking in the amazing views. The location is close to town for errands or activities, but feels like your own paradise worlds away. Although there is plenty to do in the area, one evening we just chose to stay in to watch football because the living room is so comfortable! The bedrooms are decorated beautifully and the beds are plush and cozy. The host was amazing - so helpful and responsive! My husband and I loved it so much here we ended up booking an extra night after our guests left. We will definitely be back - our new local getaway!

Charming Cottage Review

The cottage is nicely furnished, very comfortable, great deck and sunroom overlooking the lagoon, the mouth of Sequim Bay, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Protection Island, the San Juan Islands, and Mt Baker. Incredible views from a well-manicured property. Very private and quiet. One of our favorite lodging places.
