“This place was so incredible to stay at! This is exactily as its advertised !!! So so wonderful. We only got to stay one night but we will be coming back with the family next year! Increditble front desk lady with such good info about the area! The chickens were a cute touch too! LOVE this place. Went for a oak tub soak and boy! What a treat! Could fit two people very easiely !!! Very very gorgeous area clean bathrooms and shower. Everything was just fantastic! ”

“My stay at the yurt was not the best. We had to arrive before 8:30 which is hard when you are travelling from one place to another, I will say they did accommodate us in being a little late. On the website it says that there is a hot tub available to people who stay there, but when we got there it was an extra charge which nobody had told us. The trail out to the ‘ferry’ is definitely not kept up. I also was lead to believe these ‘yurts’ were in the woods further with more space between them,...

“We had a very relaxing stay at Doug's loft suite. It's a very peaceful property. The hot tub definitely made this a 5 star place to stay. So relaxing and peaceful watching the sunset and then the stars at night. The room is a bit small but quaint and has everything you need including a small fridge, sink, dishes etc. and the bed was comfortable. We would definitely return the next time we visit the area. “We stayed here two short nights and we’re already planning a trip back in the fall to see the colours on Cape Breton. The owner met us as we arrived and we proceeded to get a brief tour of the property. They have thought of everything! Comfortable, functional yet stylish - the design aesthetics are beautiful and clearly considered throughout. We loved the hot tub and outdoor shower. Beautiful sunsets. “My father, cousin and her husband from Ireland, and friends from Nova Scotia and I spent two nights here in July. It was fabulous. The location and views of the coastline are beautiful. We had our small puppy with us and management had a dog bed and dishes set up for our arrival. The beds were fabulous with new bedding and the cabin was spotless. Management has thought of everything including terry cloth housecoats for you to use with the hot tubs. A wonderful experience all around!”

“We stayed 2 nights for a girls getaway and we enjoyed every thing from the beautiful cottage to the beach and the hot tub. We didn’t use the sauna. The beach is fabulous. The only small suggestion we had was maybe the outdoor shower could be closed in so you could take your bathing suit off to get the sand out, that way you wouldn’t get sand in the hot tub. We would definitely recommend this place, it is lovely.”
