There are no services nearby so if you’re visiting off season, be sure to gas up and bring your toothbrush and snacks. It’s a good 20-30 minutes on a dirt road to get in or out of the cabins. “My husband, baby, and I, along with another couple and their baby, stayed at this cottage during our trip to Cape Breton. The cottage was more spacious than we expected and fit us well. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining area was great. Our favorite part was the proximity to the beach! Great sand and swimming, and the location made it perfect for running back and forth with kids. This place is a drive away from any amenities, which we knew, but something to take into consideration.”

“Jay's cabin was perfect for us. Spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, super comfy beds, well stocked kitchen and great location on the Cabot Trail. We enjoyed days exploring the trail and evenings on the porch or walking to the ocean on trails on the property - views from the cliff-top were magnificent. Thanks for a great stay, Jay. “This cottage is a lovely spot that we enjoyed as we began our four-day journey around the Cabot Trail. Good place to start that trip if you are going counter-clockwise as we did. “This is definately a unique property located minutes from the Englishtown ferry right on the Cabot Trail. The converted container/tiny house had everything we needed for our stay. Luxury towels and linens, beautiful bathroom, kitchen amenities and nice deck with fire place and bbq ready to use with wood and kindling all supplied. Lisa, the property manager was very friendly and helpful before and during our stay. Eco friendly, off the grid place to stay :)”
