We rented this house because our daughter had a baby that needed open heart surgery at the hospital. This house is old. When we first entered it had a musty, moldy smell so we bought air fresheners. The only thing we really liked was the showerhead, but the bathroom is original and desperately needs remodeling. There is no place to put your things except on top of the toilet or the high windowsill. The kitchen appliances and dishes, pots and pans are satisfactory as is the dining room. The living room furniture is old, stained and very uncomfortable. The couch sags in the middle. The thing that bothered me the most were the loud, creaking old wood floors everywhere. They made it impossible to be quiet if someone was sleeping. The house is on a steep hill and the front walkway is steep and very uneven, a possible tripping hazard. There is no useable outdoor space as the back yard is on a big slant and there is no covered area or seating except in front where there is a patio with an old, rusty table and chairs with cushions that soaked up all the rain, and it rained almost every day. The beds are soft and pretty comfortable, and the linens were clean. Belinda, the property manager, was great. She was attentive to our needs and came right over if we needed her. The washer and dryer are in the basement down some old, steep stairs. The TV has no service so you have to use your own streaming services and sign and in out of your personal account.
