Our stay at Seaside Haven
The location to the beach is great, and the size of the house for a larger family is wonderful. It is nice that there are many games provided and the deck areas are nice to sit out and look at the ocean. Although when you read other reviews it has been said several times that the repairs and a deep cleaning would be helpful to this house I am not sure this advise gets taken. The master bedroom slider window is missing a third of its vertical slats so you do not feel like it is very private when dressing. The blinds on many windows need replaced. The back yard fire pit area has lots of items in the yard around it so it is a tripping hazard for little ones at night while having a fire. I think if all these things would really get addressed it would be a great place to vacation.

Seaside Vacay
It was especially nice to have 4 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, so we all had separate spaces. The house was clean, other than the blinds, and windows, which would be hard to keep clean in the coast climate. Several screens were torn/worn enough that we didn't want to open those windows. Large assortment of games, but pieces missing in the ones we looked at. It would be good to weed those out. It would also be good to go through all of the electronics, remotes, cords, dvrs to make sure that things match and have working batteries. The dining arrangement worked for us with the kids sitting at the counter. We enjoyed our stay and hope you take the detailed comments in a constructive way. It is a nice house and easy to get to the beach!

Great space, not very clean
We loved the location. We were very sad about the level of cleanliness. It seemed like whoever cleaned it did the bare minimum to prep it for us. In the master, the slider door blinds were partially broken upon arrival, meaning sunlight was coming in first thing in the morning. The tv in the living room did not have anything other than a dvd player, but the ad said it was a smart tv. We assumed we would have been able to login to other apps like Netflix, but couldn’t. I chatted with the support who said they were going to set me up with someone local to come fix the issue and then never heard anything else. We ended up never being able to use the tv in the living room for the whole trip.

Beautiful home in excellent location
Very well-appointed home in superb location. Ocean dunes are 30 yards from the front door in the quiet north end of town; easy walk to the north end of the Prom and straigh shot into town. We spent a post-holiday weekend decompressing from the winter break madness, and it was perfect. Well-stocked kitchen for cooking together, cozy gas fireplace (and responsive manager when we couldn't get the pilot going), comfy couches. Only perceivable downside was dining room seating (house sleeps 8, but only 6 dining chairs- cleaned off a deck chair and carried on!), and that one more comfy chair for the living room would have been nice to stretch out a little more. Would definitely book again.

Beautiful & spacious house by the sea
Very nice house, I plan to rent it out again but for a longer stay in the future. I really recommend the house is spacious and has a great view perfect for family vacation. Didn’t use the tub but wish I did but I had a great time.

Pros: The house is spacious and the website description is accurate. Cons: Our check-in was delayed by 25 min. Our request to allow us to checkout at 10:25 am instead of 10 am was declined by Vacasa. The floors upstairs were not cleaned properly - they were sandy and dirty, probably cleaned in a hurry (if at all). The toaster was not working. The facet in the kitchen was leaking - there was water all over the counter.

Very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Comfortable seating. Lots of extras for our enjoyment. Path to ocean is a stone's throw away. Steep stairs to living level of the house and bare floors didn't work for our big old dog so he ended up staying home.

Seaside House
We appreciated that this house allowed us to book only two nights in August close to the beach. However we found that while the house had comfortable living room furniture and beds, it needs a more thorough cleaning (kitchen floor had cereal crumbs and sand remaining from last guests, found a pair of contact lens on the floor under a night stand, and blinds were really dirty) and needs some general maintenance. The refrigerator door does not open all the way and is breaking the corner of the wall. The coffee pot only worked onetime and then wouldn’t turn back on ( heating element was corroded). We had to go out and buy our own coffee maker. The stairs are very steep for seniors in this three story house. The listing indicates the house is a block from the beach which is true for the view of the sunsets. But again, it’s a very long walk over the dunes to actually get to the beach. I would also suggest that night lights be added in bathrooms and the stairwells for safety.

Seaside House
While this house was available for our short 2 day stay where most houses in August require 5-7 day stays, we would not stay here again. It was close to beach access and had large deck with partial beach view. Beds and furniture were fairly comfortable. We enjoyed the large sectional in living room. However, the whole House needs deep cleaning, and general house maintenance in some areas. Drip coffee pot only worked one time and then stopped must be replaced, we had to go buy one for our use. There were no night lights for safety and way to many steep stairs for seniors or others with limited mobility. Also outside garbage cans were already full when we arrived and were not picked up during our stay. Suggest the owners invest some time and make some updates to make this property top notch!

Close to the beach!
We had a great time at this property! It is in a quiet neighborhood that is so close to the beach! However, our group wanted to mention that the grill wasn’t clean prior to our arrival. We cleaned it, but were concerned about a grease fire due to the amount of stuff left on the grill and in the grease trap.

The master bed was horrific. Reclining couch broke. Homey but lots of things broken .
Cute place but if you can't sleep well in the beds that is a game changer for me. House keeping was still in when we arrived. Could not get an early check in or late check out. Place was NOT clean. Hair in showers. Sand on floor and dog hair on couch.

Perfect home for two families of four
We went down to Seaside with our two young kids (2 & 5) with another couple and their two young kids (5 & 7) and had an absolutely great time! Super quick walk to the beach from the house coupled with the very close walk to the boardwalk and in town meant we didn't have to drive anywhere once there. We enjoyed having the Xbox on the main level and another TV upstairs for the kids to separate and go hang out while the adults enjoyed the pool table downstairs or hanging on the main level. Great layout, and will book again.

Old Ladies Beach Trip
The property was very clean and very well done. The lighthouse theme was fun. The Living area very comfortable. We ( two 71 yr olds, one 76 yr old and one 85 yr old) walked from the house to the beach and then to town and back. Great location! We didn't know how to run the TV system and someone from VRBO came within minutes to help us Thanks for the help!

Will be back - just know what to expect
This is a hard one. Based on location only, it’s five stars. The beach entrance is close, and the neighborhood is quiet. The bedrooms were surprisingly spacious, if not laid out a bit odd. The main living area is a bit cramped. I can’t imagine a group any larger than six feeling comfortable. Overall, the house is dated and showing it’s age. Most of the blinds are broken/damaged in some form or another, screens have big enough holes that you have to pay attention to what window you open lest bugs get in. All that said, we will be back year after year I hope. The location is worth it, and now that we better understand the situation, our expectations are in line. The rental price of the house made us think it was going to be equivalent to a Hilton Garden Inn, maybe. It’s an econolodge, but again, if you are going to the beach to actually enjoy the beach, it couldn’t be better. Make sure to bring a beach wagon with you (we did). It made it so much easier. And with the house being at the northern end of town, far from open public access, it was pretty quiet and peaceful, with no more than a dozen or so people around at any given time, and rarely anywhere near us.
