We arrived after 5 pm and easily found our folder with details and keys at the real estate office in Gualala.
Finding the Sea Ranch property in the dark was a bit challenging since the development does a fantastic job of discouraging light pollution (no street lamps, lit road signs, street numbers, etc.) but we eventually found the house.
The two bedrooms and bathrooms are of comfortable size. I especially enjoyed the bed linens--comfy, elegant, understated.
The bathrooms needed a bit more cleaning in those hard to reach corners--those areas that light up when the sun is just so.
The main living area is spacious and integrates the kitchen, dining, and seating part well. It had been a warm day since we found the indoor temperature to be in the higher 80s and it was quite stuffy. We opened all windows that had screens (not all have screens). Lots and lots of dead insects.
We found the hot tub motor to be quite noisy and turned it off when we wanted to have the sliding door open or sit out on the deck. That deck is the one with the glimpse of the ocean.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.
