“Really well appointed house. My wife and I were very comfortable during our two day stay. There's plenty of room for another couple to stay comfortably as well. You can tell the owner cares about the property. We will definitely be staying here again if we are ever in Charleston!”

We enjoyed watching the wildlife meander by and the peacefulness of the setting. It was just a short drive to anything we wanted to get to and easy to find what we wanted in Charleston. ”

“The home was lovely and had everything we needed. The only thing which kept me from giving a 5-star review was an issue with cleaning. When we arrived, the house hadn't been cleaned. I contacted the property manager and they had somebody in the house cleaning within 30 minutes. They also gave us a partial refund. (There had been some miscommunication in letting the cleaner know that the previous renters had left.) There was a lot of dog hair in the house, but I think that was entirely a...

“We had our travel plans change a number of times due to snow (and lots of it!). Michael was very understanding and definitely flexed with our ever changing arrival time. ”

“.When we arrived the owner was there to tell us her furnace was out and couldn't be fixed till the newt day. She offered to give us a refund right away but not knowing the area we said we stay there. She had purchase a space heater and got us set up. There were additional space heaters in the upstairs bedrooms. Everything turned out fine. Was a nice stop over on our way to Virginia to visit friends. ”

“I am over an hour from Charleston and have a lot of events there. I am so glad I now have someplace affordable and friendly to stay when it includes multiple days! Rita is so kind and makes you feel welcome right away. I love that she kept a lot of the uniqueness of the home by keeping period fixtures in place. Very clean, and lots of appliances, I particularly was happy she had an electric kettle, as I love my tea. Thanks so much, Rita! See you again, soon hopefully!”

“Mr. Husson allowed me to check in a couple hrs. early-which he did not have to. The interior was clean and reasonably furnished. Price was reasonable for area. However, advertisement was misleading. Rental is for a floor/flat of a house. Not the whole house. Finished basement was rented to another party (who had a puppy that cried throughout the nights). Also, yard was trashy with litter strewn about.”

“We greatly enjoyed staying at Royal retreat townhouse the condo is fully updated. It is clean with nice bedrooms and bathrooms. The townhouse is conveniently located near grocery store and city park. Highly recommend this unit.”
