Such a treat!
This was our third trip to the little yellow house! We absolutely love and adore our time here. This time we used the fire pit and it was a great addition! The kids love being right on the water and we love it too. Can’t wait to go back! PS, you must check out St Inie’s in Scotland, such a gem!

Beauty and Relaxation
The Bay is beautiful, and to enjoy it from this property all you have to do is open the door and step onto the porch. That puts you within 20 feet or so of the water's edge. The chaises can be brought onto the sand for an ideal beach day in the sun. The house is squeezed in tightly between two others, but there are only two properties to the south and then several hundred yards of open beach; so there's room to spread out if that's important. The house has everything you could need or want and was very clean and well-appointed. Appliances are up to date and the decorations are tasteful. This was ideal for my wife and me and would also be for a family with little ones. The neighborhood is very remote with perhaps 10 properties along the road that parallels the beach. Everything else is just woods and farmland till you get to the main roads.

Sunny beachfront get away
Very cute beach house literally on the water! Great place. Well equipped. Easy drive from the DC area. This is the perfect place if you want to get away from it all and relax to the sound of waves on the beach all day! Loved the fire pit that could up of be used in the tree area or on the beach. There isn’t a lot around so make sure you bring your own stuff to make meals and snacks.

Wonderful week at the beach
Our family spent a wonderful week right on the beach and can't wait to go back! The cottage is basic, but totally sufficient for o week spent mostly outside and was very comfortable in the evenings. The location--right on the beach--was unbeatable.

Nearby Getaway
I just needed a short getaway time, and when a friend who had just stayed there recommended Sunshine Beach, I thought I’d take a look. It was perfect…just the right size for me, and less than 20’ from the water’s edge! Everything about it was perfect! From Long Beach walks in the morning, to watching the sun go down in the evening, all was so relaxing! A storm rolled in my last day there, and that was so awesome to watch as well!

Fun Family Beach Trip
We were a group of 7, 3 adults and 4 kids ranging from 9 months to 11 years old. I feel like overall the trip was exactly what I hoped it would be! Fun on the beach with the kids! We loved the direct access to the sand and water from the back porch. We had great beach neighbors some who were VRBO guests and some who were property owners. A suggestion to the owners would be to have a disclaimer on the listing (we found out the neighbors house did), that July-August is high chance of Jellyfish activity, book at your own discretion, I would have likely booked still, but I could have at least been prepared with jellyfish remedies for the stings that the kids did get. Having the kayaks were a big component to our fun. I highly recommend kayaking the crabbing creek down to the right of the beach. It has been very hot/dry this summer so the crabbing creek did not have fresh water access to the Bay, providing no current. There was an awful stench to it and many dead fish floating. But the crabs were still abundant and still really fun and entertaining to catch and release. The beds are really comfortable. The dining set is not best for our small age kiddos for eating so that made it a smide difficult at meal times. Additionally there was a pretty big fly and gnat problem the whole time. Despite all efforts to keep all food put away and the dishes immediately washed, and doors quickly closed. All in all, the place is cute, a little beach bungalow, serves the purpose! We are happy!

We absolutely LOVED this place! We were vacationing with our two toddlers (ages 2&3) and my sisters family with her two toddlers (1&3) and this place was absolutely PERFECT! We could all still enjoy the beach while our kids were napping because everything was right there! No one had to haul anything to the beach, they had all the sand toys you could want, and more! One step off the porch and you’re in the sand! Loved it! And so did all the kids and adults!! Will definitely be staying again!!

Unique Beach Front Property
My family and are were coming to the area in order to visit my cousin who is in the navy. We were originally going to stay in a hotel near his home but the options were limited so I expanded ny search and Im so happy I did! Instead of staying in a basic hotel we were able to stay in the beach front cottage. Its actually felt like a vacation instead of just a visit. We had a ton of fun in the water. Definitely recommend!!

Just lovely!
This was the perfect getaway. A perfectly secluded spot to enjoy doing nothing. We watched the perfect sunrises and walked the beach looking for shells. The house is adorable and provides everything you need. The hosts are super responsive and accommodating. It was a great experience all around and we will definitely stay here again.

Can't beat the view :-) The beach is beautiful and very peaceful. The home itself, however, is in need of some much needed age related maintenance and updating, though. Host was very quick to respond and repair an immediate plumbing issue.

A little Gem
Our stay was great. The house is secluded and has it's own little beach. Great for looking for sea glass and interesting rocks. The King bed was comfy as well as the day bed. Internet service is a little spotty so I would suggest bringing a good read. And bring bug spray! at night the bugs were kinda bad but that is to be expected by a body of water and a cottage in the woods. This is a beach cottage and there is some wear from the elements (also to be expected) but the house still met our needs. The Civil War history of Scotland, Maryland is also very interesting. Overall it was a great end of summer trip.

Clean, well stocked, well decorated, great communication with the owner, wonderful location. The house is better than the pictures or descriptions. This is a truly private beachfront property. Literally 10 steps away from the house. The welcome basket was very thoughtful. The house was very clean. Ample supplies of bath towels. Provided shampoo, conditional, and soap. Day fishing and night fishing were great. If you can, wake up early to experience the sunrise, Please do. I can't even describe in words how beautiful it is. Great property!!!!!
