“What a wonderful place to stay in Suffolk. The food was really tasty and good size portions. I stayed overnight and my room was really cozy, peaceful and had a balcony overlooking the back garden. “Just perfect, We were not sure when we booked as it was just a place to stay while we visited friends, but if we are in the area we will go back the accommodation was spotlessly clean. The shower was lovely. What can I say about the pub, well all pubs should be like this. The staff were brilliant and the food was amazing. “The property was undergoing a refurbishment during our visit so I can see that there will be improvements to the decor in the future, the room I stayed in 125 was in great condition and seemed to be one of the newer rooms, there was no evening dining on site during our stay due to kitchen refitting, we were provided with plates and cutlery for our takeaway, the staff were always attentive and helpful during our stay so I would return to the hotel in the future if in the area and would like to...

“The hotel was good value for money. The room was nicely furnished with a comfortable bed and the bathroom was clean. The tv in the room had Netflix which was a bonus. Although the evening meal menu was basic the breakfast was good. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is currently undergoing improvements so some of the facilities such as spa room were not available. Would stay here again.”

“Great location on the harbour. All the staff we met were very helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and clean. Limited parking which is chargeable if not booking direct. 15 minute walk to town centre. We didn’t use the restaurant but looked nice with locally sourced goods. ”
