“Just back from South Lodge and want to say thank you very much to Steve & Tony. We arrived early and the rooms were ready, they were spacious, clean, beds were comfy the decor was lovely. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of and not for the fainthearted. Parking at the property spot on as you dont always have that luxory. Well stocked Tea & Coffee in the room and the homemade cookies were very tasty and a chocolate finished off the welcoming. Toiletries were top quality. Nothing was too much...

“Great location hotel is clean and tidy with a bar and entertainment, I did leave my wash bag with a new bottle of perfume in it I rang hotel to see if they had got it but was told they had not found it !! That was a costly mistake! ”

“Just had a 3 night stay at The Old Lodge with my 7 year old son. Everything was as good as it could be, amazing room overlooking the grounds, really comfy beds, nice bathroom, everything nice and clean, staff were brilliant really friendly and professional.. we didn't eat in the evening here we ate out every night but the breakfast was lovely plenty of choice for my son... Couldn't ask for more really and Malton is a lovely little place lots of shops and pubs ... Overall I'd give The Old Lodge...

“We asked for aground floor as we do not do well with steps and they put us in an annex which was obviously new and was just right for us. Our fault that we didn't ask for clean towels etc. The staff are all very welcoming and the meals variable and very enjoyable.”
