Good stay
The neighborhood was a little rough, and there were a few items in the home that could use some love. The water outside was gorgeous, and the property manager was very great with communication.

Great House and Great Host
My wife and I stayed here in July 24. Just us two. Michel was wonderful to work with and very communicative. House was very clean thanks to Marie and equipped with everything you could possibly want/need. Michel has gone to great lengths to make sure your stay is exceptional. This was our first time to Aruba, and maybe the only island we have not visited. We have avoided Aruba because of the crowdedness which is why we avoided the "hotel zone" this time. This house was perfect for us. It is in a real local working neighborhood with lots of houses. (a dump truck lives next door) It sits steps from the water across a neighborhood street that desperately needs a speed hump. Its also across from a very popular snorkeling spot that dumps off "hotel zone" tourist all day for swim, beach, and kayak. This is good and bad, did not bother us one bit. Roaming dogs are all friendly. Never felt unsafe and small grocery and snack shops are very close. (if you need a quick bite anytime, La Granga is 3 km away and good) You are about 20 minutes from hotel zone, 10 minutes from Baby Beach and everything is a very easy drive. If you want people, they are nearby. You got to try Flying Fishbone, Marina Pirata (close by) and Pinchos, super good restaurants. We will be back to this house for sure, loved it! We almost felt like locals by the time we left. (If you see a sweet calico cat, we named her princess and please feed her)

Perfect getaway
This house was perfect for our 2 families. There were 3 bedrooms each with their own bathroom. The backyard had a large covered area to eat, relax or hang out. The living room, dining room and front yard had beautiful views of Mangel Halto Beach (our favorite beach). The house was clean, spacious and well equipped. Each bathroom had body wash, shamppo and conditioner. There were hair dryers and a steamer to iron clothes and the kitchen was fully equipped. The fridge had a water and ice dispenser which never ran out of ice and was perfect for filling our water bottles before leaving the house daily. The house is right across the street from the beach which was the best part! We loved being able to just walk across the street to go to beach. The house also has an outdoor shower to wash yourself off after the beach. Michel responds very quickly if there is anything you need. My kids say this was their favorite vacation! We would LOVE to stay here again!

Family Getaway
We loved the views from the house and spent lots of time on the front patio relaxing while watching the snorkel and scuba folks. The house was comfortable, clean and cool. We liked the location outside of the resort hustle and bustle. It is a short drive to the different beaches and restaurants. We enjoyed the donkey sanctuary so much. Baby Beach and Arashi Beach were our favorites. Plenty of good restaurants nearby and in the resort areas. The swimming and snorkeling is great at the house. It was the perfect place to stay!

Our favorite vacation spot
We stayed in this house by accident 2 years ago because we were unable to stay in home we had rented due to plumbing issues. It was a blessing. Loved the location of this house. When we decided to return we were pleasantly surprised that the home furnishings had been updated as well as the landscaping. There is faux grass that I wasn’t sure I would like but it is actually perfect. So much better than concrete and/or dirt. We could sit or lie in the hammock on the front porch and gaze out on the ocean. Three bedrooms and three baths are perfect when you’re traveling with other couples. Plus the rooms are very spacious. Can’t wait to return next year!

Snorkeling Paradise!
This home was everything and more. Amazing location with best seat to view the sunset. Communication with Michel was perfect. The home feels comfortable, has everything you need and more. On the quiet side of the coast so rent a car to drive into town, or to other sites as needed. Then come home to safety, comfort, and an amazing sunset. Wake up and have coffee on the porch, then jump into the clear blue waters of Mangel Alto! Been to Aruba a few times, but this visit was the best to date. Enjoyed the decor, and the ample space. The hammocks in front and back felt like a gift from the Universe. We will definitely be booking again in the future!

Nothing short of amazing!
Beautiful property. It has everything you need to be comfortable. All you need is food and beverage. Michel is very responsive, call, text or VRBO messages. His property inspires me to get my own. Aruba is, of course, stunning. We rented a car and explored. Parking rates were either free or very cheap ($1-2, for 2 hours). Definitely will be returning to Aruba and to this property. Fantastic hosts!

Perfect Vacation Home & Location
What an awesome vacation! This home met all our expectations and more. The owner was very informative from the time we booked our vacation, at our arrival, while visiting the island and as we departed. The home is as pictured. Having the beach chairs, beach towels, and cooler to use was an added bonus. We loved the Mangel Halto beach which was in front of the home. Often there were times when only my family was on the beach. How much more relaxing can a vacation be? We loved all of the beaches in Aruba but this was one of our favorites due to proximity to the home and snorkeling. We plan to visit again and will plan to return to this home!

Fantastic
This was an amazing place to stay!!!! We love to snorkel and all we had to do was walk out the front door. The place was super nice 3 bedroom 3 bath with a wonderful fenced in back yard. All toiletries were there and ready… even shampoo and conditioner, hair dryers, straight iron, soap. Many nice beach towels and bath towels! Owners were super responsive to any questions and extremely helpful!!!! Will be back!!!! Loved it!

A very nicely appointed home. Right across the street from fantastic snorkeling spots. Away from the rush of tourist traps yet still close to all the amenities. My favorite beside Mangel Halto was Baby Beach, less than 10 minutes. This was a great place for me and my friends. Will definitely be a repeat visitor.

We loved our stay so much!!!
Aruba is definitely a little piece of heaven on earth, And our stay at this property made it even more perfect. This gem has all the comforts of home and spectacular views. The house had recently sold, but the previous owner and the current owner were the most amazing people to work with and made the transition absolutely perfect and flawless for us. They were both SO responsive and helpful. It was the perfect vacation.

Relaxing location and lovely snorkeling spot!
The location was great with gorgeous views of the water and amazing sunset viewing nightly. My husband and i snorkeled every day, and always saw tons of beautiful, brightly colored fish! The house was very spacious for two! I turned the third bedroom into an exercise room and dressing area. I so appreciated the combo step- in bathtub and shower in the bathroom off the master. The bathrooms were lovely, with lots of natural light. Please anticipate decor more like a family home than the luxury of a resort. Needs some maintenance and newer furniture, but overall felt cozy, safe and private, without all the hustle and bustle of the high rise area! Just steps from the front door is one of the best snorkeling spots in Aruba! The other one was Boca Catalina. With a rental car --shops, restaurants, the butterfly farm and other lovely beaches (including Boca) are only 10-20 minutes away. This is a great place to build forever memories!

Great location
This house is in a fantastic location - far enough away from the resort area to be less crowded and noisy and close enough that it is an easy commute for activities, dinner, etc. It is right off the best snorkeling in Aruba - if you go to the end of the mangroves and do the drift route, the variety of corals and fish is fantastic. But do your research first, as the drift route is for advanced snorkelers since the current is quite strong. Once you start there's no going back as the current is too strong to swim against and the reef blocks you from going into shore until you find one of the reef breaks. The reef gets more shallow as you get closer to the break; we have advanced snorkeling equipment and found it a challenge to keep far enough from the reef until we got to the break. The house itself is comfortable. The house has actually recently been sold; we had a problem with the dryer and the new owner was super responsive and had it fixed within 24 hours.

Great Size For Large Family in Peaceful Location
Awesome, spacious home with multiple bedrooms nicely spread out. Fully stocked kitchen w/ large dining table. Across the street from beautiful beach w/ great snorkeling. Would definitely recommend renting a car if you want access to grocery stores & getting to the many fabulous excursions since they are on the other side of the island by the tourist resort area since although taxis are easy to get they are quite expensive going back & forth. There’s a fabulous neighborhood bar just down the street & a wonderful over the water restaurant a short 10 minute walk away. Definitely recommend for larger group or families!

Paradise
The home was very roomy and had all you could need if you wanted to just hang out there. You are right across from a great dive/snorkle site but not in the middle of the tourist area. If you drive only 10 minutes you can be in the middle of plenty of shopping. It was in a safe residential type area and the view was amazing! The owners were helpful with any question or concern immediately. Can't wait to go back! .

Very relaxing spot
We loved this vacation home because it was away from the crowds of tourists in Aruba. We could snorkel and swim right across the street. The house had everything we could want, lots of space, air conditioning, washer and dryer, and a nicely outfitted kitchen. Great restaurants are in the neighborhood. We would stay here again.

Family Christmas in Aruba!!
We had a wonderful week in Aruba. This house opens up front to back and the warm breezes blow through. We never used A/C in the main part of the house. It was spacious and lovely. The front porch was wonderful, a back patio and clothesline for water shoes and bathing suits helped immensely, even an outdoor shower. Everything we could need or want was available. Early morning swims just outside our front gate!

Kid Friendly.......Beautiful......Relaxing.....
Over the past ten years, our vacations have been to different islands with our two adult children and their dates. We finally made it to Aruba. The snorkeling was wonderful. The house is located across a road from one of the best snorkeling areas in Aruba. Being a mother of two and an elementary teacher for 32 years I want to let you know how perfect this house and snorkeling would be for small children. Not only are you in walking distance of a small beach but the washer and dryer really could come in handy. We did not want to be in the hotel zone for this trip, yet I was not cooking dinner every night. There are WONDERFUL area restaurants and a marina close by to purchase fresh fish caught that day. Staying at this house with a few friends could save you a lot of money by cooking in and relaxing. Due to the fact that all beaches in Aruba are public beaches, the locals know to come to this area. You may be looking across the road at parked cars most of your trip but that was not a big deal to us. The fact that a family can snorkel for hours, walk to the house, shower outside, eat, and return to the beach all without loading up the car was invaluable. We can not wait to return with grandchildren one day. The house is decorated and looks just like it does on the website. It was VERY clean and had everything needed to have a wonderful vacation.
