Beautiful property and fantastic location
The property was lovely and worked perfectly for our group. I do have a couple of suggestions though - (i) more mirrors (we had all girls and it was difficult to get ready), and (ii) I'd recommend noting that the boat is there and looks right into the property (although not a big deal, it was a surprise).

Boats, Boats, Boats
This is a wonderful place. The bedrooms are comfortable. The living/dining/kitchen area is huge. Even larger is the outdoor deck. I confess, it's a bit nicer when the Star of Saugatuck is away from the dock, but even when it's there isn't not a nuisance. I gave it the title I did because it was so relaxing sitting outside at dusk watching the yachts and sailboats go up and down the river. Location is prime. Parking is super covenient. The host is very quick to reply to any inquiries. If I had any criticism, I wish it had an outdoor grill, but that might be prohibitted by local laws. Othewise, the place has everything. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location
Loved the penthouse.. the large deck made all the difference! (just be aware that Star of Saugatuck does actually dock at deck between trips, but did not bother us). The large kitchen overlooking living room and deck was great. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and updated (small wish that larger master bath was actually in master but we managed!) Wonderful to be right in town to easily walk to shops and restaurants. Found nice paths for biking and running nearby. Easy drive to Oval Beach for daytime fun and also to enjoy evening sunsets. Any questions we had during stay were promptly answered. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect penthouse
Our trip to Saugatuk was wonderful. But the penthouse was spectacular. If u r lucky enough to stay, it will b one of the highlights of ur trip. The clean, well appointed penthouse was real luxury. The rooms were a generous size, the beds were cozy, and the big dining table was perfect. The huge deck overlooking the water was amazing. Would give this property my highest recommendation.

Huge, well-appointed property with relaxing view of the river. Immaculately clean with all necessities included. No need to pack things like coffee, TP, paper towels, soaps. Beds very comfortable, windows with screens to open and enjoy the breezes and river sounds. Within walking distance to downtown area with many excellent restaurants, breweries, fun shops and coffee roasters. Would definitely stay here again. Easy drive to Holland/Fennville area.

We had a quick stay during a local urgent family matter. Place probably had best amenities of any rental we have have ever had (tissues, hand soap at all sinks, hooks in bathrooms for towels - types of things that are not always present). Location on the water was perfect refuge during challenging personal time. Thank you.

unbelievable views
as a local, I spend a lot of time in Saugatuck, if you are visiting this is the place to stay. the location is perfect - these views are probably the best you get in town. You are close to town, you could take the chain ferry to Oval, you can walk across the street for a great traditional breakfast at Ida's - a great place to stay for a townie trip in Saugy!

July 4th long weekend stay
Exactly as advertised. Clean, fresh and spacious. You need to be comfortable with the “Star of Saugatuck” docking/loading/unloading right off your balcony but other then that, excellent location.

Perfect location

This is a fabulous place!
it is a really beautiful and well managed property with a great location. Sitting on the front deck is fantastic and when you walk out the door, you're downtown with a great collection of shops and restaurants. Five minute walk to the ferry, cross the river and talk 10-15 minutes and you're at the Oval Beach. Or explore the dune or go to the top of Mt. Baldy. Very comfortable -- we'll plan to come back again

Review of riverfront property in Saugatuck
The property was clean, well maintained, and well-stocked. Amazing deck and location. Communication was excellent, and the property manager contacted us before we had left town because housekeeping had found my son's wallet that he had inadvertently left behind. The Star of Saugatuck loads and unloads a few times during the day, so the upper deck passengers do "infringe" on the privacy of the property for a total of perhaps a half hour per day. They are also on a very defined schedule, so this can be planned/avoided if guests are concerned about this. This is also referenced in the listing, so it should not be a surprise. We absolutely would stay here again. Great property, location, and property management.
