Serene Villa

This beautiful Villa from the 1600’s was everything and more than anticipated. Situated right outside of Sarteano, a town we fell in love with. The view from the Villa was spectacular. The grounds were loaded with herbs, fruit trees and lavender. We stayed 6 weeks and it was a great base to visit all of the areas of Tuscany. Great restaurants, bars, and shops with a market on Friday mornings. Fabiola and Raffael became friends that we were very sad to leave. A car is definitely needed as it is down a 1.7 km lane to the villa. Fabiola was a great wealth of information for us to visit the wonderful towns of the region. We never saw a prettier area in Italy and so easy for our guests to get there from Rome to Chiusi where the train station was. Everyone in Sarteano took great effort to handle our requests even though our Italian was very limited. Wineries and olive oil mills there also. It was an adventure that I hope to relive again within the next 12 months.

Endroit idéal pour visiter le Val d’ORCIA et la Toscane. La villa est joliment décorée et tous les équipements y sont. Fabiola est toujours disponible et aux petits soins avec ses invités. Bref un très beau séjour en famille. Gracie mille

Wunderbar!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub an diesem wunderbaren Ort! Das Haus ist fantastisch ausgestattet, sehr sauber, tolle Zimmer und ein super Pool! Es blieb kein Wunsch offen! Guido und seine Familie haben uns herzlich willkommen geheißen und mit kleinen Überraschungen den Aufenthalt im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes versüßt! Sehr zu empfehlen ! 10 von 5 Sternen!!! Great house, amazing hosts, private

This was the perfect place for our stay in Italy. It's down a bit of a rough road, so put the actual coordinates into your GPS or it might not pick it up. The one in our rental car wouldn't. However, once there, the place is great. Clean, with a pool, and very private. From here, we travelled to Assisi, Orvieto, Siena, and Montepulciano, which is exactly what we wanted to do. As long as you don't mind driving a bit, this is a great location for getting around. As a bonus, your hosts are just amazing people. They are friendly, courteous, and honestly care that you're enjoying your stay. All of this without being at all intrusive. I'm not sure if it's a regular thing, but they bought us pastries for breakfast twice, and even a welcome basket of wine, cheese and sausages. Just incredible. I can't say enough good things about this property. If you're looking for a quiet, clean getaway near a charming town (Sarteano), this is the place for you.

Beautiful place with enough space and wonderful hosts

We had a great stay in the house. We got warmly welcomed and had everything we need - even more then enough water bottles. In that house you can really spend time privately because you stay nearly alone on that hill. Just be prepared to rent a car that fits the bumpy road. But even the road got repaired with a tractor after rainfalls by the hosts. We really can recommend this place and will come back ☺️

Magical!

We stayed at this wonderful villa for a month in October to celebrate our 70th birthdays. We were joined by friends and family. Let me begin by raving about our wonderful hosts, Fabiola and Rafael. They were attentive without being intrusive. They responded immediately to every question we had and helped us navigate the area. The house was large and fully equipped with essentials. We had fresh towels (including pool towels) and sheets delivered every week. Our garbage was collected early every morning. There is a one mile gravel drive from the road, but it was fine. The location of the villa was perfect - half way between Florence and Rome giving us so many options for day trips. We were lucky to have warm weather to use the big pool at the beginning of our stay. We loved this place so much we hope we’ll be able to return one day! Grazie Fabiola and Rafael.

Wonderful villa with everything you need.

First of all - thank you so much for the great service, checkin and the lovely property. We had a blast during the week and really enjoyed staying at your house. It comes with everything you might need, even including an ice cube maker. The hosts were very kind to us, providing us with surprises like sweets for breakfast. The house is equipped with a swimming pool, sun loungers and parasols. Montepulciano is a nice town nearby worth a visit.

Great Tuscany House in Countryside

The property was perfect for us. It was large, can easily handle 10-12 people. The place was very clean. It was nice to have air conditioning in every bedroom/living room. The pool was very clean, refreshing and extra large. But the best part of the house is the owners. They are VERY generous and surpirsed us with multiple treats throughout the stay :) The house is remote and on a fairly long dirt road. Finidng it was not hard using google maps. We would highly recommend staying here.

Traumhafter Urlaub im Naturparadies

Wir haben eine Woche mit Freunden und unseren Hunden in diesem wunderbaren Haus in dieser einzigartigen Umgebung verbracht. Alles verlief reibungslos. Die Vermieter Fabiola und Raffaele waren sehr nett, immer erreichbar und wir haben uns sehr über das leckere Gebäck, Käse und Wein gefreut! Das Haus ist sehr schön, blitzsauber und sehr groß. Der Garten war ein Traum für unsere Kinder und Hunde. Der Pool ist umzäunt, was sehr praktisch war mit unseren kleinen Kindern. Es war einfach ein wunderbarer Urlaub und was ich am meisten vermisse ist die absolute Ruhe..

Extraordinary house and hoasts

We had an absolutely wonderful week in Fabiola and Rafael's beautiful house which is completely secluded and beautifully located (although the road the last kilometer was challenging). We are a 3-generation family and everyone enjoyed the house and its surroundings. Of course, the large pool was a favorite. The host couple did everything to make us feel comfortable, made suggestions and came with gifts and arranged, among other things, for us to have a dinner cooked and served at the house. We would like to warmly recommend the house to other guests and above all want to emphasize the outstanding hospitality of the host couple. Janne with family from Sweden

Oase der Entspannung

Historisches Anwesen am Rande eines Naturschutzgebietes,einzigartig gelegen, abseits vom Durchgangsverkehr,eine Oase der Ruhe und Entspannung.Das geräumige Haus steht in einer parkähnlichen Gartenanlage mit sehr altem Baumbestand, ist komplett eingerichtet und kann auch eine große Familie entspannt beherbergen. Der Poolbereich ist großzügig angelegt und sicher umzäunt.Unsere Familie hat den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, nicht zuletzt auch durch die Präsenz der „housekeeper“ Fabiola und Raffaele.Die beiden sind unermüdlich,jederzeit erreichbar,und haben sehr zu unserem Wohl beigetragen,dieser Service ist kaum zu überbieten —mille grazie euch beiden.Wir alle haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen,das Ambiente in diesem Naturpark ist wirklich außergewöhnlich,einGlückstreffer,schwer zu finden.

Een heerlijke plek

Het huis was heerlijk! Ligt wat afgelegen en de toegangsweg onverhard en erg hobbelig, maar de fantastische ligging maakt dat helemaal goed. We verbleven er een week met onze kinderen en kleinkind. Genoten van de ruimte, het zwembad en de ruime tuin. Een aantal keer positief verrast door Raphael en Fabiola met heerlijke plaatselijke lekkernijen!

Ein wunderschönes Haus für einen perfekten Urlaub

Wir waren im Mai 2023 in diesem schönen Haus. Das Haus liegt sehr einsam(2km Schotterweg, der aber gut mit meiner Limousine zu bewältigen war) und ist perfekt für Leute, die einen ruhigen Urlaub verbringen möchten, was wir wollten. Bis auf das Tor ist das gesamte Grundstück umzäunt, was das Anwesen auch für unseren Hund ziemlich perfekt gemacht hat. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Fabiola und Raffaele empfangen und haben eine Einweisung bekommen. Bei offenen Fragen sind die Beiden jederzeit ansprechbar, was uns ein gutes und geborgenes Gefühl gegeben hat. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und bietet easy Platz für 3 Paare. Der Pool ist schön groß und wird täglich gereinigt. Ein Grillplatz ist vorhanden und hat das Gesamtpaket abgerundet. Die Lage ist sehr gut, unweit vom Gladiator Drehort haben wir jeden Tag die Landschaft erkundet und uns die malerischen Städte wie Siena, Florenz, u.a. angesehen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dorthin fahren und haben das Haus unter Freunden auch schon wärmstens weiterempfohlen. Mille Grazie Fabiola, Raffaele e Guido

Einfach nur super!

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in dem Haus von Fabiola und Raffael. Besonders schön waren die Überraschungen in Form von Wein, Gebäck und Kuchen von den Vermieten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Inserat nur weiterempfehlen. Die ruhige Lage lädt zum Entspannen ein und zudem kann man viele Tiere beobachten. Vielen Dank an die Fabiola und Raffael für ihre Bemühungen und nochmals ein großes Dankeschön für das leckere Abendessen! Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit sehr netten Hosts

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche im Ferienhaus. Es war sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Fabiola und Raffaele sind sehr nett, unaufdringlich und bringen gerne kleine Überraschungen vorbei. Sie haben uns jederzeit weitergeholfen, Taxen gebucht und Reservierungen für uns vorgenommen. Der Pool war toll und es gab auch Wasserbälle und eine Luftmatratze. Besonders toll fanden wir, dass für die gesamte Woche ausreichend Trinkwasser frei zur Verfügung stand. Ein toller Service. Lediglich das Wlan hat bei uns nicht sehr zuverlässig funktioniert. Gelegentlich gab es kein Netz. Wir haben es aber im Urlaub auch nicht zwingend benötigt.

The perfect house with the nicest hosts, we had a wonderful stay. Definitely to recommend!

The check-in and the communication were super easy, Fabiola was flexibel and very friendly. It is a little hard to get to the house, but everything worked out. We loved the house, the pool, and the property, you have a lot of space where you can hang out. Fabiola and her family were always there, when we needed something. The kitchens are very well equipped, as well as the house itself. The pool got cleaned every morning, which we appreciated a lot. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay, and definitely recommend the place. We would love to come back another time.

A fantastic family holiday!

A great house with plenty of space, good facilities and characteristic Tuscan style. The garden was beautiful and in an incredibly peaceful setting. Despite this isolation we were very well situated for trips to Orvieto, Pienza, Lake Trasimeno, Cortona and Perugia. Sarteano itself is also a lovely town and well worth a visit. We have had many family holidays in this area and this was one of the best houses we have stayed in. The pool in particular was large and very well looked after. Fabiola and Raffaele were exceptional hosts, extremely attentive and thoughtful and yet very discreet and anxious not to intrude. We were particularly touched by the thoughtful gifts of food and drink which they regularly dropped off for us. We truly had a magnificent holiday and would love to return one day.

Für uns perfekt

Wir hatten unvergessliche Tage in der wunderschönen Toskana und besonders in dieser wunderschönen Location. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und haben uns immer kleine Geschenke in Form von Leckerein und Wein vorbeigebracht. Alles lief wirklich reibungslos. Unser Hund wurde auch mit offenen Armen empfangen und wir würden jederzeit wieder hier Urlaub machen. Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage. Hätten wir gekonnt dann wären wir wohl immer noch da.

100% Zufriedenheit!

Seit nunmehr über 20 Jahren reisen wir mit Familie/Freunden u.a. in die Toskana. Diesen Urlaub sind wir erstmals etwas weiter im Landesinneren und somit ca. 2 Stunden entfernt vom Meer geblieben. Long story short: ein Volltreffer. Selbstredend sind Region und Menschen einzigartig und der Grund, warum wir so gerne in die Toskana gehen. Aber dass ein Gastgeber (sowohl die Agentur um Guido, als auch die vor Ort verwaltenden Personen Fabiola und Raffaele) sich so vollumfänglich um einen kümmert, das hatten wir noch nicht erlebt. Tägliche Poolreinigung (zw. 6-8 Uhr, also vor unserem Erwachen :-), kleine Überraschungen (Vino oder Brötchen/Gebäck), unkomplizierte Kommunikation und faszinierend liebevolle Hosts - das alles ohne aufdringlich zu sein bzw. wenn erwünscht auch ohne sich zu treffen - wirklich bemerkenswert. Vom Ferienhaus aus ist man schnell in Montalcino, Montepulciano, Siena oder am Lago die Chiusi (für Angelfreunde). Rom erreicht man in weniger als 2 Stunden und den romantischen Ort Sarteano in 5 Minuten. Dort gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, die wohl beste Pizzeria, die wir seit langem besucht haben sowie Raum und Zeit zu verweilen (kleine Läden, Shops, Eisdielen, etc.). Können wir eine Empfehlung aussprechen: ganz klares JA. Mille grazie.
