Esta casa en el corazón de la ciudad medieval de SARLAT, a 20 minutos de Lascaux 4 y en el cruce de todos los sitios más visitados de Dordogne, está ubicada en más de 1600 metros cuadrados de jardín con vistas a los tejados de la ciudad medieval y cerca del centro histórico, esta casa de campo completamente restaurada y decorada con buen gusto disfruta de todas las comodidades necesarias.

Compuesto por la planta baja de un gran salón de 60 metros cuadrados y una cocina totalmente equipada, tendrá en la planta superior dos dormitorios grandes, un baño y un aseo con ducha.

Depósito de 350 euros para ser entregados directamente en el lugar a la llegada a la entrega de las llaves.

Un lugar y una casa preciosos
La casa es muy bonita, decorada con mucho gusto. Las vistas desde la casa y la terraza son excepcionales. Sophie, la dueña, es un encanto. Sarlat es una pequeña cuidad medieval preciosa. Recomiendo ir al mercado de los sábados. Desde Sarlat, se puede hacer senderismo, visitar castillos y parques / jardines maravillosos. La única pega que reflejaría es que a una semana del viaje, Sophie nos comunicó que había un extra por los juegos de sabanas y toallas de 45 euros además de la limpieza de la casa de 60 euros. Estos extras eran opcionales, es decir o nos llevábamos nuestros propios juegos de casa o pagábamos 45 euros . Para la limpieza , o limpiábamos la casa antes de finalizar la estancia ( cosa que siempre hacemos antes de marcharnos de las casas, sin tener ninguna obligación por parte de los dueños) . Al final de la estancia, pagamos los 45 euros por los juegos de cama y baño. Considero que este "plus" debería reflejarse en el anuncio de Homeway

This is clearly a 5-star property both in a lovely removed, private setting yet mere steps from the old town. The cottage is lovingly crafted and very up to date. I was sorry not to have a "welcome notebook" with a history of the property as that would have been entirely fascinating. And although we figured everything out, a "user's guide" attached to that notebook would have been helpful. It is a spectacular property and was a joy to experience.

Excellent stay in Sarlat
A short walk down the hill to middle of town made it easy to visit restaurants,shops and a grocery store. The house was roomy and quite comfortable. The one shower was in the washroom on the first floor away from the bedrooms but we worked around that easily. The one suggestion would be that a booklet outlining the use of the home eg where to put the garbage, how to operate TV, favorite restaurants etc. would be helpful. But Sophie answered all our question promptly. Overall a great stay.

Wonderful house 5 minutes from town
We had a wonderful 10 days in this beautiful home. The house was very spacious and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The walking path from the front door took us into Sarlat in just 5 minutes. Sophie was very responsive to any questions we had and provided us with some suggestions for restaurants in town. We would highly recommend this house.

Tolles Haus in wunderbarer Umgebung
Das Küche ist top eingerichtet. Die Schlafzimmer haben ein besonders schönes Ambiente durch die Holzkonstruktion des Dachstuhls. Sarlat ist zu Fuß leicht erreichbar, um Croissants zum Frühstück zu holen.

Super Umgebung
Wir verbrachten zwei Wochen in dem Haus von Sophie. Das Auffinden des Hauses war zunächst ein wenig schwierig. Ein Anruf bei Sophie und sie war sofort zur Stelle. Das Haus liegt in perfekter Nähe zum Ort. Trotz der direkten Nähe zum Ort und einem Fußweg direkt vor dem Haus, war es sehr ruhig. In Sarlat-La Canéda kann man bummeln, essen und den Markt besuchen. Die Umgebung bietet zahlreiche Ausflugsziele. Sophie hatte uns noch eine Reihe an Tipps für Restaurantbesuche gegeben. Das Haus ist prima ausgestattet und es gab nichts, was gefehlt hätte. Aufgrund extremer Hitze haben wir die Terrassen nur selten genutzt. Wir hatten zwei rundum schöne Wochen in der Dordogne und würden jederzeit wiederkommen,

Lovely home steps from Sarlat center
My husband and I spent 2 weeks in this spacious, well appointed home. It is a very short walk into town where there were numerous restaurants and markets. The two market days were perfect for providing us with good fresh foods and wines. The surrounding area is filled with small medieval villages to explore that are a short drive away. Sarlat is charming, well maintained and a perfect base to explore The Dordogne region. Sophie is a responsive host and has offered a charming home. This was our third trip to the french countryside and Sophie's cottage was by far our favorite rental. The outdoor terrace was ideal for watching the hot air balloons float by with a glass of french wine in hand.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en Famille au Printemps. La maison correspondait exactement à nos attentes, elle a beaucoup de charme et est très bien située (être si proche du centre tout en pouvant se garer, c'est pratique !) l'hôte a prouvé être très reactif en cas de besoin.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and well located. There were some mice running about and we did find droppings in the bed, although the house was otherwise very clean and well appointed. We would have liked some coffee left in the cabinet at least for the first morning and the bedroom could use some hooks for clothes or coats. Otherwise it's well stocked with kitchenware etc. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor seating area for coffee or wine and cheese. And it was a quick easy walk into town. The owner was quick to answer my questions and easy to work with.

Une maison confortable et bien placée
Le gite est très bien placé juste au dessus du coeur historique de Sarlat, accessible en 3' à pieds. Confortable en conditions automnales et parfaitement propre, nous étions ravis. Sarlat est un point de départ vers de nombreuses visite à moins de 30' en voiture dans la région (Lascaux, Castelnaud, Beynac, accrobranches, etc.). Juste une précision : le terrain de la maison est (comme on peut l'imaginer si proche du centre) assez réduit, et ne permet pas vraiment de jouer avec de jeunes enfants : plutôt de grandes terrasses probablement très agréables en été !

Lovely property, very well equipped and clean. Five minute walk down steps and a path into the centre of Sarlat. Very convenient. Clearer instructions on how to locate the property would be helpful. Good parking down the steep driveway, best to reverse. Sophie answered any queries I had very quickly by email.

Fabulous house in a great location!
Sophie’s house was very pretty, extremely well equipped and spacious. It was only a short walk into the centre of Sarlat and there was plenty of outside space and garden furniture. It is little difficult to find as it is hidden down the driveway so a direction map would be useful. However, this did not detract from a wondeful stay. Highly recommended!!

Another fantastic stay chez Sophie
We returned to this lovely property after two fantastic weeks last year, and had another amazing two weeks. The location is indeed literally five minutes from the centre of Sarlat, great for getting breakfast croissants and pains au chocolat from the market. The kitchen is excellently equipped compared to the average holiday let, which was great for making meals when not eating out. The house is surprisingly roomy, and was great for our family of four with 16 and 14yr old boys. Sarlat is a perfect location for a holiday - swimming and kayaking/canoeing nearby on the Vezere (gorgeous!) and Dordogne (equally gorgeous but more people) were particularly great in the heat. Sophie was a fantastic, helpful and friendly host once again. Merci beacoup!

Ruhige Oase direkt über der pulsierenden Altstadt
Liebevoll eingerichtetes altes Bauernhaus mit allen Annehmlichkeiten. Grosse Wohn- und Schlafräume, Bad und WC auf beiden Etagen sowie eigener Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Besonderes Highlight: grosse Terrasse, umgeben von Grün und in absoluter Ruhe mit Treppe in die Altstadt. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!!

Sophie’s place
Sophie’s house was a perfect place for two couples. There was lots of space and it was well equipped. The location is great. It is a short walk to the centre of the town via a walking path. Although it is close to the city centre it feels very rural and is quiet. We had beautiful weather so we enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner out on the patio.
