Lovely Villa

This is a lovely villa set in an ideal location with all the amenities you could want for an enjoyable stay. The restaurants and shops are a ten minute from the house and the beach is also within easy walking distance. Would highly recommend.

Electrical issues with NO RESPONSE/ RESOLUTION

We are very frustrated with our lack of support and help we received. The house overall was really nice. However, circuits would trip randomly. Sometimes a light would turn on and off without instigation, and other times just closing a door would turn off another light. In the bathrooms some outlets didn’t work at all. One day the AC and most of the electrical went out at dinner time when we were trying to warm up food for the kids and family– the oven and microwave were not working with the fridge going in and out. It was also 90+ degrees outside. We contacted the local manager Braella and we spoke with her about getting an electrician out. At first she was very responsive and was working on getting an electrician to come but wasn’t sure about the status of the electrician. She also said she would check with Vacasa about moving us and giving us options to choose from. I later received an email with only one option that wasn’t suitable for our family, so I called Vacasa and spoke with someone different about not wanting to move and wanting to get an electrician out. She told me she was able to schedule an electrician between 8-9 the next morning. We changed our plans to wait for the electrician, but they never came. We connected the local manager Braella and she stopped responding completely and never bothered to check if we got electricity again. Luckily the electricity eventually returned, but with the previous glitches of randomly losing it. It was extremely frustrating.

Lack of Commnication & beware of cameras

During our stay there was a flash flood, The water completely flooded the pool. While the flood is completely out of anyone's control, how it was handled afterwards was! The next morning the water was gone so, we reached out to see when they could have the pool cleaned so it could be usable due to the amount of debris in the pool. That text went completely IGNORED. The next morning, we contacted the 800# and did not receive a call back until 4:40PM. They said someone would be out the clean the pool the following day - WHICH WAS THE NORMAL CLEANING DAY. The next day NOONE STILL SHOWED! We had 3 full days out of 6 full days with NO POOL. The morning we left I reached out via email to see about a partial refund. I did not think it was fair to pay full price when the main amenity was not usable for half the days. It took 10 DAYS and many follow ups from me for them to offer anything and it was a slap in the face! I was given $113 back out of a $4147 bill for loss of the main amenity of the home. The listing does not mention cameras but beware there are cameras. I kind of expected the doorbell one, but there is one in the pool area too! It is not directly facing the pool but I am sure it can see some activity- plus I am sure they can hear everything. I think there is a level of privacy that is invaded there for sure! makes one question if there were other cameras. The master bedroom sheets were clean but stained and dingy. The rest of the home/stay was as expected.

7 out of 5. That's right! A Great Vacation Rental!

What a Great House! We had kids through grandparents staying over Christmas Break. Our favorite was the Heated Pool! Yes, the pool was heated before we arrived and we used the pool every day. Everyone, including grandparents swam in the pool. Really a fun time! The house was clean when we arrived and everything was well organized. We could easily find pots, pans etc. Washer and Dryer have a large capacity. WIFI was easy to connect to. -Which was a must for the kids. Beds were comfy to sleep in. The house looked like the pictures which was very comforting. The house is within walking distance to Lido Beach. Kids found many seashells there and the beach was long. -So finding a spot on the beach was easy. House is also within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Which is very convenient for those days you do not want to drive anywhere. For those who do want to drive: There is a Publix grocery about 4-5 miles north, several seafood market places, doughnut shops and a few really good seafood restaurants are a short drive. Disney World is also about 2 hours away for a day to get-a-way with the kids. I can't stress enough: The heated pool was a lot of fun for the entire family. From the grandparents to the kids, everyone swam. Having everything within walking distance was really refreshing and fun. This is one of the best places we stayed.

Convenient, stylish and comfortable

Fantastic home. Convenient location to beach, shopping, restaurants, St. Armand's Circle, downtown Sarasota and more. Stylish décor and great layout with primary bedroom separate from two secondary bedrooms. Multiple sitting and dining options. Lovely heated (optional) pool and outdoor / garden area. Would choose this home again in the future.

Fabulous getaway property

In short - this is a fabulous house in a fabulous location on the Sarasota keys. All directions about stay were clear (except one - read below), emails arrived ahead of time. The house is overall very well appointed and comfortable for 4-5. Kitchen is fabulous as are TVs. The pool adds to the sensation of luxury. The kitchen has everything, and even a decent selection of spices etc - presumably accumulated as leftovers from guests. AC works great. Two issues that I suggest the management company to address: 1. It appears that the trash collection schedule is only posted on their Vacasa site for this property. This should be included in the welcome email directly. 2. There is not a decent vacuum or broom/dustpan. The Shark that sits in the garage is completely unusable. Fortunately we brought in minimal sand, but with a bigger company that will be a headache. Other than that - we had a great time and should we come back to the area this specific house will be our first pick (if available).

Nice house

Nice house and a very good location. We love st. Armands Circle and always stay at this location when we are in Florida.We enjoyed the pool, rooms and a new kitchen . 3 min walk from the town and 10 min walk to the beach .nice interior. What we didn’t like is that 1.the house was cleaned really bad .2. Check in time-3. Absolutely no response from the host, I wrote several times about the crib , but nobody answered. 4. We received an Email suggesting us late check out at 2 pm, what we did. But at 11 cleaners arrived at the house and we had to ask them to leave explaining that it is still our time. Than at 1 pm a man arrived and asked to take the laundry from all the rooms . If we were suggested that time and we payed extra for that, why we couldn’t enjoy privacy.

A very pleasant house

Very clean house. 3 nicely sized bedrooms. A short walk to the shops and restaurants. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. The only negative is that the pool was smaller than expected. It seemed much bigger in the pictures. But not a big deal because it was only 5 of us. Would stay here again.

Perfect location, lovely house!

We had a great time last week. The house had plenty of space for our family of 6 plus grandma. The decoration is lovely, the kitchen well stocked, the patio with the grill and swimming pool were perfect. We walked to the beach every day, and at night we enjoyed the wonderful restaurants and ice cream shops St Armand has to offer. We had a great time and we hope to come back next year!

Excellent location

We had a great time at the house. The location was perfect, close to the square and to the beach. The house was very cozy and was immaculate when we arrived. The layout and interior are well thought out and tasteful. The kids loved having the pool right outside the door and we spent hours enjoying it.

Immaculate and great location!

This home was beautifully renovated with an open floor plan, so felt quite spacious. Half a block from all the shops and restaurants on St Armands Circle, 2 to 3 blocks from Lido Beach. Street is in a very quiet neighborhood. Nothing but positive to say about it!

House location was great

We had a very nice time and the location of the house was great. A few minor things that could make it a great experience: 1) there were only two beach chairs for adults with another one broken down and there should be more and better chairs; 2) the WiFi was very slow; and 3) the frying pans were terrible. We like to cook breakfast in the AM and the pots were awful! The pool was great and having a garage to store our rented bikes was also very nice. Multiple TV’s also allowed folks to retire to their own room to watch whatever they liked. Overall, a very nice time and with nominal additional costs (new beach chairs and new pots) it could be great!
