Perfect Get Away
The place was very nice and clean. Family stayed there for a weekend ski trip. The house had everything we needed and it was close enough to the resort and shopping.

Fall Break Trip
My husband and our 3 children (11, 14, 17) came to Sapphire for 3 nights over my kids' fall break. We found the house comfortable and plenty of space for the five of us to spread out. My girls loved the creek running through the back of the property! We prepared breakfast and dinner at the cabin and ate lunches out. The kitchen did have adequate cookware and utensils. I did bring our crockpot for a meal and I'm glad I did as the cabin did not have one. We were able to explore Cashiers and Highlands and see several waterfalls within an hour of the cabin. One thing that I was not aware of when I booked was that the resort rec center is about a 10ish minute drive from the cabin. The amenities were very nice, but it is not within walking distance like I mistakenly assumed. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and I would recommend this property for those looking for a relaxing mountain getaway!

Nice for 1st cabin rental!
We did enjoyed our stay but we have a few suggestions for the homeowner's. 1st they need to improve the entrance sign to include the house address. The house was down off the road and then the sign did not have the house number. 2nd the large rock pathway at the front door needs to be updated with safety improvements. We had a family members who had great difficulties with the rocks at the entrance. One family member tripped and fell. 3rd they need to install flood lighting on each side of the house to give better vision at night. 4th the bunk room needs a few table lamps and a floor lamp. The lighting in that room was only mainly the ceiling light. Once the light was cut off there was limited lighting to get safely in the bed. 5th the shower off the hallway was not usable. The bottom of the shower was not safe enough for a senior to use. There were no shower mats. 6th the lightbulb on the front porch was out. We had to replace the light bulb. It made it hard get in the door when arriving back after dark. 7th the bed pillows in the bunk room need replacing. They are all worn out on all those bunk beds.

Great Getaway
Super Clean. Lots of storage. Very convenient to amenities and parks. Perfect bunk room for kiddos. Plenty of paper products. No campfires in the area allowed. To use the Sapphire Valley resort amenities you have to pick up a pass before 5 pm. $5 per person over 14 per day. Under 14, free with adult. That part was vague in the listing, but the day before the hosts reached out and the resort had our names, so it was easy.

Beautiful weekend in the mountains.
My family had a great time staying at this property. Home is extremely clean, has a lot of room and in a great location. Honestly, the pictures don’t do it justice! The owners were so helpful and quick to respond when I had questions.

Highly recommend
A wonderful place to stay with your family with plenty of room and accommodations. The pictures are 100% true. I would recommend bringing your own pillows since the pillows are a little bit flat but they have 4 pillows per bed. My teens are already asking when are we coming back. I will also recommend staying longer then 2 days so you are able to enjoy everything this space has to offer.

Cozy Cabin for 2 Families
If you're headed to the mountains, any cabin will have a bit of a drive to get to it - But the drive is beautiful and worth every mile. The cabin itself is spacious, cozy, and plenty of space on the 3-sided porches to unplug and soak in the nature. The 2 main bedrooms are perfect for 2 couples and the kids room is big enough for a pack of cousins to go crazy. I think I remember there being a bunch of board games in there, too (we didn't use that room, but it looked fun as hell.) I think there was also a trail down, out the back door that you could take? It's a beautiful spot with lots of accessible nature nearby.

Beautiful setting for a simple, clean and cozy cabin. Lots of outdoor decks, some screened. More space than I expected, with plenty of beds. Not fancy, but prettier than photos suggest!

Lovely, quiet cabin
The cabin was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet. Kitchen had everything we needed for our simple meals. The property was great with the outside areas and the creek (though we had a lot of rain so we didn’t get out there as much as we hoped). The kids enjoyed the optional amenities at the resort area and it was nice to have access to these with the rain. Would love to stay again.

Needed a break and really enjoyed the quiet stay. Spent a little time shopping St Augustine, dining and driving the beach. Highly recommend this rental, quiet and lovely accommodations. My only complaint was the beds were uncomfortable.

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway. The cabin was very spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed and more than enough room. The kids enjoyed a weekend of skiing. We will definitely be back!

Quiet Retreat in the Woods
Lovely cabin. Plenty of room, even at the dining table, which is often not the case. Screened porch and deck are awesome. The only let down was that the fireplace can't be used. We would definitely stay again.

Forest retreat
We enjoyed our stay in a beautiful forest area. But, the drive was twisty and a bit long for going into town every day. If you’re staying put in the house, it would be great. The place was immaculate! The creek and woods are beautiful. There were just a few things that would have made our stay better. The beds, some blankets, and simple things like salt, they had pepper. There is no closet in the front room. So went to Dollar General and bought some hooks to hang over the doors to hand clothes. The back bedroom had two huge closets. They need decent pillows. I suggest you bring your own. There weren’t enough lights in the kitchen to see . The microwave light was not working. One light was out over the dining room table. We put a small bedroom light in the kitchen to see in the corner and the stove. We bought a few good drying towels to accommodate ourselves for the kitchen and bathroom. Bring your own shampoo, soaps, dryer sheets. clocks( there are none, but in the stove and microwave), and again pillows. And the kitchen was accommodating. But, with all my criticism, you will love sitting on their huge deck, walking to the creek and the quiet surroundings and beauty. I would give it a thumbs up. And someone please put out the light on the shed or put better drapes in the front bedroom that goes out to the wonderful screened in porch.

Restful Retreat
We had a long term rental and the property was clean , comfortable and well equipped. Great showers and the beds were too ! The outside has ample room for entertaining and the screened in Patio and grilled were used a lot as were the beautiful and scenic blankets that we wrapped up in as we sat both inside and out ! We absolutely loved the forest setting and the privacy it afforded us. It was a wonderful nourishing vacation.
