We checked in on Sunday June 16th after 4 pm. We liked the gated community and the nice pool that we could access out our back door. We weren’t crazy about the community pool hours. The pool closed at 7 P.M. and the sign on our gate said it closed at dark, but that was incorrect.
Another person had written a review stating the condo was a 7-10 minute walk to the beach. That was incorrect, because it was a 17 minute walk. It was almost a mile.
An issue we had with our condo was the master bedroom fan. I couldn’t get the fan to come on. When you flip the light switch on it beeps, meaning that it is a remote controlled fan. One switch was for the light and the other was for the fan, but you need a remote. I searched high and low and didn’t find a remote. I even called VRBO (the company we booked through) and went through the customer service spill. That wasted precious time on my vacation. That number to VRBO actually led to Vacasa which is another 3rd party. The lady wasn’t helpful, but she asked if I wanted a technician to come out. I said sure, but they’ll a remote to turn the fan on. The technician never showed! That was a huge waste of time and the customer service was a joke.
All in all, we enjoyed our time. The place was nice, just a little far from the beach for us. My biggest complaint is the lack of customer service. When we needed help with a remote for a fan, there was no one to help. Where is the owner of the unit? Or is it owned by a company?
