We enjoyed our stay. Communication with Two Casitas was great. They provided all the information needed in a timely manner. Place was clean upon arrival, along with a complimentary bottle of wine, coffee, chips, and salsa. Enjoyed the view of the mountains. Plenty of linens and towels for beds and baths. Kitchen well stocked with dishes, pots & pans, salt/pepper, & oil, everything you need, just bring food. Very quiet and peaceful. Close to museums and downtown. Recommend providing information related to area hiking trails.
As for detractions, window curtains need updating to provide privacy in bedrooms and bathrooms, everything is a sheer type curtain (the window in the main bath didn't even have a curtain). The decor was lacking and not very inviting. Seems a mismatch of sorts with art & furniture and could use an update and be better arranged. Was expecting a Santa Fe feel and style especially for the price. Suggest getting rid of the leopard chairs, large mirror, two odd lamps next to the mirror, and moving the writing desk to this space, exposing the set of wall switches hidden by the desk. Replace large mural, metal motorcycle sculpture, sailing ship, and art with indigenous style art, pottery & rugs. Nice deck, but the railing needs to be replaced (functional, but again for the price expect better). Also, dining room windows need maintenance so they work properly. Several tiles in shower need to be reattached. Can be 5 star with attention to detail and style
