Escape From Texas Heat July 2023
My husband and I have stayed in a lot of B&B's in New Mexico and this property was the most charming and comfortable of them all with plenty of restaurants and art galleries within walking distance. The courtyard and portico are set up for dining and relaxation. If you have the opportunity to meet Louanne you will find her to be a gracious host. We enjoyed our time with her and felt like we were leaving a friend at the end of our stay.

Spectacular Hideaway on Canyon Road
We both really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment, with an incredible courtyard! Nice to meet with the owner as well. Our weather was perfect - and we managed to walked a ton!

Enchantment, Steps off Canyon Road
This wonderful, historic property is located near the midpoint of Canyon Road and it takes less than 30 seconds to be in the heart of the galleries. Set in a gated, private and lush courtyard, it is a perfect combination of indoor comfort and outdoor beauty. The 100-year old adobe structure is quiet, clean and comfortable with a cozy bedroom, modern kitchen, an extended living/dining area and natural light from skylights and courtyard-facing windows. A long covered porch serves as an outdoor living space that we made our place to rest and read. The host was charming and made us feel welcome. For us, it was the perfect enclave for a long weekend, enjoying the cool October weather from the heart of Canyon Road.

beautiful adobe house on Canyon Row
Just gorgeous place, spotlessly clean. The owner was not very responsive if we needed anything. For example, more wash cloths (there were only 3.) Or directions for operating the cable tv. It would have helped to have had a list of instructions and channel lineup. We felt she was angry or annoyed at us for asking normal questions, so we tried not to interact with her if we could avoid it.

We Would Stay Again
Louanne provided us with a beautiful lodging experience. We have stayed in a lot of STR's and this was our favorite for a number of reasons. The Porch/Portal was amazing-coffee in the morning and meals and wine in the evenings! The location was perfect for us as we love the art experience on Canyon Rd. It is also a short walk to The Plaza. We would stay again!

Absolutely perfect place
My husband and I just got back from a 4 night stay at this lovely place. The location is perfect. The rental itself was spacious and cozy at the same time. Super clean with all the amenities you need. The courtyard was quiet with a ton of space all to yourself - we could just leave our bikes in the courtyard with zero concerns. We already can’t wait to stay there again. It was truly a perfect rental.

The Best Santa Fe has to offer for a Couple
This property is superb in all ways: location, beauty, cozy, appointments, and perfect floor plan. We loved our stay. The owner is wonderful and friendly. She understands the historic nature of her property and decorated it accordingly. With 2 wood burning fireplaces, comfortable furniture and bed, well furnished chef's kitchen, and absolutely gorgeous garden, this home is perfect! We will stay here again and again!

We have rented more properties than I can remember in Santa Fe. This is one of the best if you only need a one bedroom. It is in an excellent location just off the lower part of Canyon Road. The interior design and art is great. The king bed is extremely comfortable. The kitchen is more than adequate and I greatly appreciated the pod espresso maker with the half and half in the frig. And I appreciated the bottle of Chardonnay and the other snacks. The den is very comfortable and large with a working kiva fireplace. The porch was a nice place to read and relax and it overlooks a private landscaped yard.

Canyon Road Beauty
This is the first time I have stayed on Canyon Rd but it is now on my list for future vacations. This property is very roomy for one like me buy also perfect for a couple. Once you enter the gate the gardens and inner courtyard are just beautiful. There is a long, covered porch with plenty of seating so one can just lounge outside and read the latest Anne Hillerman. There is a parking space right outside the gate which on crowded Canyon Rd. is very important. I am a walker and find walking downtown from this location very easy. I love to come to Santa Fe and use my car as little as possible. I had to contact the owner a couple of times and she always got back to me. I did notice that the smoke/carbon monoxide alarm in the bedroom had the battery door open and no battery. I was able to find a battery and take care of the situation. The kitchen is very well supplied for the little cooking that I did. The bed is very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

A lovely respite
This historic house is lovely, in a compound with similar adobes on Canyon Road. So many interesting galleries for browsing. The kitchen is updated with everything a traveler would want, including complementary fruit, wine, coffee and a pint of half and half in the frig. Perfect in every way.

Beautiful Place, Amazing Location
We had a great stay on the Canyon Road. What a great location to explore Santa Fe. It’s an easy walk to art galleries, museums and outdoor hiking. The residence was spacious and so comfortable for relaxing after busy days of exploring. We enjoyed preparing our own meals and having a restful sleep in the quiet of the evening. The outdoor patio and gardens were an extra bonus. Communication with the owner was responsive and welcome after a minor clitch with a door lock. We’re so glad we stayed here and would love to visit again.

Up close & personal
This was an amazing place to stay! Luann had thought of Everything! No luxury was spared, we made a quick trip to Trader Joe’s to fill our food needs and needed nothing else. We would give this beautiful suite 6 stars if we could. Though it snowed while we were there, we were warm & comfortable next to the fireplace. When we ventured out, we were right in the middle of a walkable array of galleries. Bravo!

Though not in Santa Fe and with just 2-hours notice, the owner very graciously had someone buy milk late at night so that I could have tea when I arrived close to midnight.! Literally this request was accommodated on a nano-seconds notice! ThankYou!!!

One of the Best locations in Santa Fe!
Property is located right on Canyon Road yet private and secluded. Beautifully detailed with all the extras you could want. Louanne is a wonderful host. I would highly recommend this location and hope to stay here again soon.

Absolutely Perfect!!
This could not have been a more perfect place to stay - not only is the location close to everything we wanted to see, particularly Canyon Road and it's marvelous galleries and restaurants but the space was beautifully decorated, classic Santa Fe style, with exquisite antiques and sense of design. The attention to detail, including lovely bedding with a very comfortable bed, very well equipped kitchen, a small washer/dryer, and an adobe fireplace is fabulous. Although we stayed in February, the very private courtyard is protected and beautiful and I can imagine the apricot and cherry trees in full bloom in the spring. Parking is easy, it's a short walk to a lovely hiking trail and an easy drive to everything you would want to see. Louanne is a lovely host, very helpful and responsive, and knowledgable about all thing Santa Fe. We for sure will be back as staying here really made our visit to Santa Fe so special. I cannot recommend this more highly!!

Perfect quaint and cozy getaway space for us with authentic Canyon Road/New Mexico feel. Luanne pays attention to every detail to create a warm and welcoming environment. She believes every room needs a living plant to bring it to life and make it feel like home. The outdoor space is beautiful and an oasis for relaxing after a day of exploring Santa Fe. Santa Fe Meets Downtown Abbey...
The property is gorgeous outside and has a prized location certainly. Gardens and setting couldn't be better. The unit itself is fine, but for the price, too expensive as the furnishings and overall setup isn't very updated. It feels dowdy and not ready for prime time. Linens and mattress are uncomfortable, the furniture is overall unimpressive and oldish, feels like leftover stuff from 20-30 years ago...It has enormous potential if it gets appropriately updated to accommodate today's traveler. Or reduce the pricing and therefore reduce expectations as a "Santa Fe meets Downtown Abby"...which doesn't have to be bad....but needs to be clear on its position.

Heaven, Again.
I loved my stay here so much... just had to return. This haven is so quiet, peaceful, and private. Yet, it is steps from some the best of Santa Fe galleries, restaurants, coffee shops. Teahouse and Garcia Street Books are my favorites! French Country interior combined with Santa Fe, southwest makes for a lovely nest. And, I'll be back again!
