Hideaway Haven

Amazing place, beautifully quiet in the middle of nowhere, just as I like it. The postcode takes you to the nearest village when using satnav or Googlemaps, so I found it a bit difficult to navigate in the dark, but phoned the number and was guided in admirably. I was impressed by the location and facilities, a perfect haven after a hard day's work and I slept like a log in the very comfortable bed. Breakfast was cooked to order, plentiful and delicious, setting me up for another day 'at the coal face'. I will definitely be returning!

Lovely B&B, really high spec, clean and super friendly. Fantastic facilities - probably the best shower I've ever used! 2nd stay and will definitely book again.

Great overnight stay

Very welcoming hosts, fantastic room, very spacious and comfortable accommodation, great attention to detail, will definitely stay again. I needed to leave early in the morning and so couldn't make breakfast but every effort was made to make sure I had something to eat and drink which was appreciated. Very homely atmosphere which is great for regular business travellers who don't always want the anonymous hotel experience, it was a very calm alternative to what I'm used to. Very useful to have the opportunity to cook your own evening meal rather than eating out and the guest fridge is a brilliant touch.

Really Good B&B

This really is a home from home. The room is great, the facilities offer everything you'd ever need, and Karen is an excellent and friendly host. Wish I'd found this place ages ago and will be back.

Great B&B

Lovely B&B. I had brief overnight stay. Room was immaculate and nicely decorated. Breakfast was lovely and home cooked. Plenty of choice if not having full English. Was there on business trip but stayed in family room. Very large - 2 separate rooms with double and 2x singles. Very friendly host and lovely location.

Beautiful location, lovely room and facilities

We booked the room that was described as "four single beds" and it far exceeded our expectations for the price we paid. In actual fact there were two rooms. The first one we entered was actually configured with a double bed which was perfect for myself and my partner. It is spacious and comfy. A door leads through to a second room with two single beds. Whilst we didn't have our son with us on this occasion it would work well as a family room (although bear in mind that the bathroom leads from the second room so you need to go through it). The bathroom was well equipped with an excellent shower cubicle as well as a bath and two sinks. Downstairs has a very nice communal lounge, breakfast area and kitchen along with coffee machines and snacks for guests. The hostess was very friendly and helpful and provided us with an excellent cooked breakfast in the morning after our stay. The B&B is set in the middle of beautiful countryside and is in a converted barn. Definitely recommended!

A gem in the Countryside

A wonderful find. The host was very welcome and gave very clear instructions to find this property. Enjoyed a varied breakfast. Would recommend to anyone who wants to stay in a quiet and beautiful place.

Beautiful Accommodation

Peaceful setting. Amazing room and bathroom. Lovely and peaceful, making my stay so relaxing. The perfect haven after a hard day at work. Very friendly owner. I used the kitchen facilities rather than going out to dine, because once I returned, I was so relaxed, I simply didn’t want to go out. Loved it. I’m going back again and again. Wi-fi works well, although the phone signal was easier to find outside. I highly recommend Molehill Barn.

Karen was superb. Extremely friendly and helpful and she cooks a great breakfast. Room was impeccable with the comfiest bed I have slept in at a hotel. 5 stars from me and I will return next time I am in the area

Beautiful B&B, More Like a Hotel in The Country

We stayed for one night whilst attending a wedding reception in the area. We had a family room comprising four beds in two rooms. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was modern, spacious with a good powerful shower and his and hers sinks. The breakfast was excellent and the hostess was very friendly. All was set in a rural environment.

Amazing place to stay. Not often you get an owner to message you before with directions to the place. Making sure we are ok when we checked in ok. Room was amazing. Views amazing and breakfast was lovely. This place is truly amazing. Our first weekend away as a couple. Both very happy.
