Lovely cottage in the countryside of Castelluzzo, surrounded by olive trees and mediterranean vegetation, situated in an ancient Sicilian Baglio (ancient farm house used to prepare bread, olive oil, wine or cheeses) and neighbor with other properties. Here life flows slower, traffic does not exist, loud music does not reach it, the only sound you hear in the morning is the singing birds.
Inside has 4/6 beds in a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds (convertible into double), a loft with a double bed, a bathroom with shower and the second bathroom has a large soaking tub mosaic. The living room is furnished with sofa bed and dining table, with access to a convenient kitchenette.
The outdoor area allows you to enjoy the most of your relaxation: lying on the sun beds by the pool, shaded from the sun or sitting comfortably on the sofas of the relax area with a refreshing drink. From the rooftop terrace of the relax area you can enjoy beautiful sunsets over the sea.
The swimming pool (1.50 meters deep and open from May to October) is surrounded by a large garden (fenced) with lawn, olive trees, fruit trees and typical Sicilian plant, which gives the color and freshness garden.
The veranda allows you to prepare and cook meals using the outdoor kitchen or BBQ, and then enjoy them comfortably outdoors.
Appliances supplied the house: air conditioner in the living room, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, hob, large fridge-freezer, espresso machine, turntable player with radio, large flat screen TV with access to satellite channels free, free WI-FI, solar panels that provide constantly hot water. In addition, the house has an independent heating system, useful to heat the house if you decide to stay in the colder periods.
The price does not include the electricity used during your stay (€ 0,40 / kw used).
Due to experiences with some guests not particularly attentive to electricity management, we had to make the choice to exclude electricity consumption from the rental price. In doing so, the guests are much more careful and do not leave the appliances on all day, while they are on the beach, especially the air conditioner. Using this precaution, a family can spend an average of € 50 a week on extra electricity consumption. This may vary depending on the customers' personal use of the appliances: washing machine, dishwasher, air conditioning, water pome, etc. Today our planet is suffering from the intense exploitation of water and electricity by man. With a bit of attention we can all contribute together to plan it for our children's future.
The heating cost is not included in the rental price.
The house also has a private parking lot in front enough for 2 cars.
Along the coast, about 2 km from the house starts a nature trail of the most evocative of the western Sicilian coast. From the Gulf of Mount Cofano to the cliffs of Cala Mancina, between cliffs, bays and coves the coast offers excellent bathing alternatives to the famous beach of San Vito Lo Capo, in the months of peak season registers a high number of tourists. Here we find beautiful pebbly beach with crystal clear waters, the beautiful sandy bay of Santa Margherita equipped for hire loungers and umbrellas and a small bar. From June to September the access to the beaches is closed to traffic, and can be reached with the hilarious Ercolino free train that connects the two free car parks to the beaches. The train makes several stops giving you the chance to visit all of the cliff among the many coves of sand and pebbles.
Continuing towards San Vito Lo Capo, at the village of Makari, the coast enchants again: the Isulidda Beach and Cala del Bue Marino awarded Best Beach in Italy in 2015 attracts us with the turquoise sea or the red of the horizon at sunset. Snorkelers will enjoy the beautiful fish-rich waters. The area is also frequented by climbers who find on the territory of San Vito a wide range of climbing areas.
Only 10 km away, the beach of San Vito Lo Capo, it is definitely a breathtaking beauty, but, along with it, you will discover many hidden corners, truly unique as the Zingaro Nature Reserve and that of Mount Cofano, the ancient village of Erice, the Archaeological Park of Segesta, the Salt Pans of Trapani, the city of Trapani, the Island of Mozia (Mothia) and Marsala cellars, and why not the wonderful Egadi Islands, enchanting Levanzo, Favignana and Marettimo.
