“The Host Ben is very responsive and kind. I wanted to experience living among the Ticos and we loved it. This place is unique and cozy for the 4 of us girls. There are some minor upgrades needed but we are so easygoing that it was not a bother. We survived a huge thunderstorm and no power for just a couple hours. The property has 2 cats. Also each bedroom has air conditioning and we enjoyed Netflix in the evening. This area is definitely a surf town and several restaurants walking distance....

“This place was great. Though Avellanas Beach was a short walk from the property, it felt secluded and remote. I could hear howler monkeys in the trees, which was cool. The house was gated and felt safe and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. I would gladly visit again.”

“Really enjoyed the space for all 11 of us (ages6-45) It was perfect to have the extra casita for the kids and the pool was perfect! We loved how close we were to playa carillo and the little hotel next door was great - service, food, friendliness- all excellent! We booked shuttles through Samara rentals and it was a breeze. They were always ready and able to help. The washer/dryer was really helpful during the rainy days. ”

“La villa est magnifique, moderne, très bien équipée et entretenue, bien située à l'abri du voisinage mais proche de tous les points d'intérêt. La piscine est immense. “Our stay was wonderful! The house was perfect for our family of 5. The location to the beach to explore and swim was perfect. The kids loved being able to walk a few steps and be on the beach! The area was very quiet with close proximity to the town. The pizza place and Indian restaurant that are just across the street were both excellent! “The house was very spacious, clean, and had a wonderful view of the ocean. The pool and cabana area was our favorite hangout spot. We opted in for additional services like a private chef and daily maid which were well worth the cost and the stsff eas friendly and very accommodating. The location is perfect as it is quaint and just a short gilf cart drive or walk to most places. My only complaint is that the curtsins could be better and the mattresses were not the most comfortable.”
