Mixed Review
This is an older home that has been renovated and it isn’t as upscale as it appears in listing. Excellent appliances, big eat-in kitchen, but no central heat. The room heaters took 18 hours to get to 75 degrees because the house was so cold for our January stay in a rainy week. Uncomfortable sofa and that’s the only seating in living room. No instructions for TV, appliances or check out. No vanity or counter space in bathroom for our cosmetic bag and shaving kit. No dressers, no luggage racks, but there are lower shelves in the bedroom closets. Outdoor space is a tiny front porch and a little bench near the busy street. The traffic noise was not a problem indoors. Off street parking is great. Then you need to back out carefully to the street. Nice neighborhood with park nearby. Personally, we would not choose it again, but we are a retired couple who spend a lot of time in our rental unit and it might suit other travelers better.

Great place
We had a quick 2 day stay here and it suited our needs just fine. Beautiful gardens greet you as you enter and exit. The hosts are very responsive. Easy and delightful.

Overall a great stay
We chose this unit because we were visiting family that lives in Willow Glen, and this location was excellent. The unit was very clean and we would stay here again. Two suggestions - there was no bar soap for the shower, so we had to get some from our family. One of the mattresses was way too firm for us, so you might consider adding a mattress topper. Otherwise, the unit had everything we needed.

Great Stay
Exellent hosts. Location is great, close to downtown Willow Glen. On a busy road, but surprisingly quiet inside the house. It's a lovely home. My kids enjoyed staying there.

Convenient location
We enjoyed our stay in San Jose, primary to visit with a son and his family. The house is in a nice neighborhood on a busy street. The kitchen is well-equipped and the bed is comfortable. (There are two bedrooms and we used just one of them.)

Great place to have as a base of operations for our vacation.
Host is great at communicating and super helpful but also great at not being intrusive. Place was in good condition and beds were comfortable (one soft and one firm so you can pick your preference). Was nice to have a working kitchen to keep our costs down. We would definitely stay here again if we come back into town.

Well appointed rental apartment.
This was our 2nd rental while in San Jose and as the first was so amazingly good this place was not so appealing. This is a shared facilitly so parking is a bit awkward. It's on a fairly busy road but not noisy when indoors. However I would have no hesitation in recommending to others. Getting the WiFi code was a bit of problem as we had to go to a local McDonalds to message the owner to be told what it is!! This is because we were travelling from outside the US and didn't have a roaming plan. Other places have that information in the apartment!

Perfect for what we needed
Conveniently located, we were in town for daughters wedding and were only 5 minutes away from her. The property is on a busy road, but we didn’t have any noise from traffic. Parking was easy in the driveway. Has nice big kitchen with washer and dryer. I would definitely stay again

Great Extended Weekend Stay with My SIster & Niece
We all met in San Jose (from Oregon & Wisconsin) to visit with family who were just 5 minutes away from the property. The location was perfect and was also close to the nice Willow Glen neighborhood. The property had been renovated with a great kitchen and was cute and very clean. The street out front is a busy one so you can hear the traffic from the front room, but it didn't bother us at all as we spent most of our time out and about. We didn't even use the beautifully equipped kitchen for anything else other and coffee and cold drinks. The hosts, Michelle, and Ray were easy to communicate with and checked in with us to ensure we enjoying our stay. When we booked the listing did say there were two full bathrooms, but we only saw one. There was a door at the back of the kitchen but it had a curtain hanging in front of it and was blocked by chairs, which I took to mean that the area it led to was off limits. But, we were just fine with sharing the one bathroom and it didn't tarnish our stay at all so I never even asked the hosts about it for our quick stay. Pros: Clean and comfortable place, great communication from the host, safe parking on site, great neighborhood, has washer & dryer in unit. Downsides: Laundry is in the kitchen, next to the living room and is loud. Not many electrical outlets in the bedroom if you need to charge your smart phone, computer, other equipment and use the light on the small but cute desk in the bedroom. Overall it was a comfortable and fun extended weekend visit for all of us. I would definitely book again in the future.
