Cozy, comfortable and quiet.
It was a cozy little place , everyone was comfortable just like at home. Its a nice clean and quite neighborhood with a convenient little park for the kids just a 5 minute walk. Also only 20-30 mins from misson beach.

Family Trip
I wish I could say this was a fun trip for my family. It was my mom’s funeral that we had to attend. This being said though the accommodations and location were perfect. It was close enough to my family’s home and central to all the activities we had to attend (church, memorial, etc). The unit was fully furnished and what my family loved the most was having a fire pit to hang out at in the evenings to reminisce about their grandmother (my mother). The rooms were clean and the property was very kid friendly. Peter the property manager was very responsive and proactive. Overall our experience was wonderful and I would consider returning to this unit in the future.

The house was impeccable clean...much appreciated. Grounds were spectacular for our doggies and easy to clean up. Would have appreciated coffee and more spices if you are offering a spice rack. No local tv or news only the online stuff that was not user friendly to navigate.

Do you feel lucky?
There is no grace period or refund options for this property. So when the VRBO app glitches and says your request did not go through try again later don’t be surprised if a week passes and you have to make other arrangements and then out of nowhere the proprietor confirms your “request” and refuses to give any refund or try to re- book the property. They have your money locked up and VRBO will not support you. So, do you feel lucky?

soccer tournament weekend
We had a tournament in Del Mar for my kid's soccer club. this was such a great house with lots of room and all the kitchen utensils to make meals for the kids and relax.

Disappointing experience
To start, we arrived at the property at check in time and the property manager was there helping a friend move into the house. This was slightly unprofessional and made all of us a little uncomfortable. Next, shortly after arriving, the bathroom flooded due to the float in the toilet not stopping the water from filling the tank. The manager and homeowner refused to call out a plumber and insisted we manually fill up the tank using the water supply valve every time we used the bathroom. There were 8 of us staying here and is not acceptable to ask a guest to do, as that valve is not meant to be used often, and if broken, we could have been held liable. The homeowner finally came out after over 24 hours and replaced the parts. They have since dropped off contact after requesting a refund for our first day— which is reasonable considering we paid for two full bathrooms and did not receive that. Lastly, we partially chose this house because of the backyard/outdoor space and the nice blackstone grill. We were told after getting there that fuel for the grill is not provided and we would have had to purchase our own full tank that we would have had to leave at the house (we all flew into town, if you’re driving in this probably isn’t an issue). Other than those experiences, the house was okay, good enough space for 8. Wouldn’t stay again.

Great location
It was just what we needed for our stay in San Diego. Great location with everything that we wanted to see and do, not more than 30 minutes away. The house was clean and quiet with plenty of room for all of us. The kids enjoyed having a place in the backyard to stretch their legs and get some before bed wiggles out. It was the first time we have rented a short term rental and we would do it again!

This house was exactly what we needed for a week in San Diego. The location is perfect, and the house was clean and supplied with plenty of amenities. The host was excellent and easy to deal with. He communicated with us every step of the way. Could not recommend enough!

Great stay in a perfect location
The house is perfect. Its kept extremely clean, well maintained, and stocked up on any essentials you might need. Everything is in working order and feels very premium. The location is fantastic as well! It's just a few minutes away from many great places to hike, eat, or explore. Peter was extremely helpful, communicative, and professional through the entire experience. He offered us suggestions on places to go in the area, ensured our check in and out was seemless, and made it a point to make sure everything was going well during our stay. 10/10 would recommend just for the great hospitality alone!
