Ok...where to begin. I'll start with the positives - the neighborhood is peaceful, quiet, safe and beautiful. Parking was easy/free (I parked in the carport). The downsides: 1. The most major one was that I arrived 30 minutes early with an injured dog (she dislocated her hip on our 11 hour drive to SD from SLC), and the propery manager would not accomodate early check in because the property was supposedly still being cleaned. I didn't see anyone inside, but regardless, we just sat on the front steps waiting to be able to get in at 4 PM on the dot. My plan was to throw our stuff inside and take her to the emergency vet appt I had made for 4 PM. When I got in, I quickly noticed that the place hadn't been cleaned. There was trash all over, dirty dishes, the bed was unmade, etc. I notified the managers and rushed to the vet. They responded that it was an oversight and they were sending a cleaning crew over ASAP. When I got home from the vet 1.5 hours later, there was one person cleaning the home and she had only just begun...so I just had to sit in the corner with my dog until she finished. Really bad way to start off the trip. 2. This is an old home, and there is a serious lack of plugs. For instance...there is no plug in the bathroom. So if you need to plug in a hairdryer, flat iron, etc to get ready in the bathroom, you're out of luck. I had to plug in in the living room and use PhotoBooth on my laptop to get ready. The bedroom plugs are also not conveniently located.
