We had booked the place in advance and there were people coming in from all over the US. First there was a mandatory maintenance issue which needed fixing so they offered to put us up someplace else close. We ended up in Poway, 45 minutes away. They did not disclose that until we arrived, by Uber. The uber trip was now $80! Were were supposed to get a 50% refund for the first night for the inconvenience, as of now that has not happened. All our events were in San Diego. Then we were able to drop our stuff off early only to find they were washing sheets and cleaning. There were sugar ants in both units. We were told the location is a "natural environment" so insects will get in. We live on 10 acres and we do not have ants in our home.
They were very quick to take full payment when we reserved but are having a hard time with our refund.
