Lovely home
Definitely a unique home. Plenty to do. The host was able to keep the pool water at 85 degrees even with the fall/cold weather. My grandkids enjoyed it immensely. The home was clean, organized and homey. I would like to return if the host will have us.

Family birthday.
All the activities and of course the pool is the reason why I chose this house. The welcoming living room to the kitchen waiting for a family meal to be prepared My son and his friends loved playing pool, the ping pong table entertaining for hours. We enjoyed lunch by the pool and relaxed on the swing at the end of each evening. The back yard felt like an oasis in a luxury hotel without having to have anyone else around. My family and I had an amazing time. Thank you Molly and Phil for opening your home to us.

One-of-a-kind host!
Phillip clearly takes pride in all his home has to offer, which is a lot. You can tell there was so much care and thought put into it for years. Easily the best spot I've stayed at in San Antonio!

Reunion with adult kids and friends
As advertised, but better. Very welcoming home, filled with fun and entertainment. Clear instructions on how to work things. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and pool table the most. Nice neighborhood with grocery store and restaurants within walking distance. Not too far from the airport.

A Fun and Fantastic Place for the Family
There's so much good to say about the home that Phill has built. We visited for a family Thanksgiving trip and usually seeing family and the sights is the highlight of the trip, but most days we couldn't wait to get back to the house. From basking in the 85 degree heated pool and hot tub, our dart tournaments, 8-ball challenges, dart competitions, table tennis battles, and chess championships, there was just so much to do. I don't think we watched TV for more than a few hours the entire time we were there. Our secondary host Molly the Cat was fantastic and showed us around the house and made sure we knew where everything was :) . Seriously, there were sodas in the house, ice cream, snacks, and food that Phill noted that we could use if we wanted to. There were travel sized tooth paste, deodorant, shampoos and conditioners. He even had an Oral-B charger, so I didn't need to unpack mine. You could arrive at Phill's house with nothing and you'd have an amazing visit. Phil was beyond fantastic in being our host. Getting into the house was seamless and his messages helped immensely in explaining the homes available features. He answered any messages almost immediately and after making a request, he allowed us host a small Thanksgiving gathering at the house. Thanks Phill for everything, your house and you are amazing!

Great weekend
Review Mr. Hunters home was even better than anticipated. He had everything labeled and instructions on everything wrote down in a well organized binder on the table. There was lots of indoor entertainment. The pool and deck were a very relaxing space for all. Our grandsons loved every area of the home, spending every minute at the house engaged in some type of fun activity. The home is well supplied with everything you could possibly need to include high chair, and crib for the smaller guest. He makes sure your time is focused on fun, and not worried about something you may have forgotten to bring. Mr. Hunter was pleasant and accommodating to work with during our stay and quick to respond to any and all questions. Thank you for the great memories! The Hilla family

Great Resort-like Environment
We stayed a week in late April 2023. Phill was an excellent host and made us feel exceptionally welcome. We loved the hot tub and pool- He heated it to 85 degrees before we arrived, which was great since it was on the cool side during the week. I played one of the guitars every day and we worked out in the home gym. No need to ever leave the property! And Molly the cat was a nice treat.

Massage room was an added perk!
We had a wonderful stay! House is great and so is Phill! I scheduled an amazing masseuse to come in and give us all massages. We left her business card in Phill's guest book at the house and highly recommend booking her and taking advantage of the massage room. The pool and hot tub were warm and clean, we enjoyed a lot of time in both. Molly is so welcoming and made us feel at home. It was a little different that Phill leaves Molly, food, his bath products, etc. in the house but he is so hospitable we felt like we were staying at a friends house - thank you Phill! Just a note; Phill makes it clear in the vrbo details but I thought I would mention it again here, two of the bedrooms only have futons but the futons are comfortable and did not bother us. We totally recommend this house!

INCREDIBLE!!!
We had the most amazing experience staying here! Our host was attentive and very hospitable! Our group ranged from 82 years young down to 1.5 years old. We had EVERYTHING we could possibly need and pur host thought of everything....... I mean everything. Anything you thought you forgot was somehow there and available. The home and property are beautiful and welcoming. We lived the guest book and there was even a binder that went through anything you could need to know! This was above and beyond Anything we could have ever hoped for and we hope to turn this into a yearly tradition 😊

golfers weekend
We really loved the accommodations and location. Spent time in the hot tub and pool, even in Feb. Phil had it heated up and ready to go. We felt like we were in a sports museum of sorts! Very cool memorabilia everywhere you look. The only issue we had is we would prefer beds to futons. But the futons we used were not bad.
