“The cottage was gorgeous, well appointed with everything you need. The backdrop of the woods makes it a special experience. Butchart Gardens are 5 minutes away. We loved spending the day in Victoria, then heading out of town to escape the crowds. It’s about 10 miles from Victoria.”

Martin was so kind and welcoming, offering great suggestions for the activities I wanted to do; breakfast was delicious and the outdoor tub under the full moon was magic.”

“We just finished our stay at the cabin and had an enjoyable stay. Paul, the host, was more than helpful in revealing unique local restaurants and interesting sites. He was very helpful and responsive the entire time, and yet respected our privacy. The cabin offers waterfront access - you can even go for an ocean dip - and there are comfortable Adirondack chairs by the water. The covered deck around the cabin was a favorite. “We were so pleased with the large space and location of this cottage. And everything you could want in the kitchen for cooking at home, including condiments, oil, etc. etc. So thoughtful and helpful. It was wonderful to have a fully fenced area for our dog, who greatly enjoyed all the new smells, and adventures to some of the beaches.
