“We originally chose this area as we were planning a trip down the Pacific Coast Highway past Big Sur. We were very pleasantly surprised by the Pacific Grove area. There were some very nice restaurants in the area and plenty to see and do. Our accommodations were just right for the location and amenities. “The location to downtown was incredible, just a quick walk. The famed Shadowbrook restaurant is only a 15 minute walk! Ocean view was beautiful in the morning. Kitchen was very well outfitted, but the dishwasher needs to be bolted in because it starts to fall forward as it’s loaded. We are going to make this VRBO an annual trip because it was fantastic! “We had a small family reunion here for 2 nights. The main house is nice and spacious, very clean and functional. The bunkhouse is located upstairs and some of the beds are in the loft, up a ladder.
