“This place is such a gem. Host was super friendly and well organised with check in etc. We stayed in the white room, which as with all the rooms had loads of great design features. The common areas of dining room and living area are great if travelling with children (as we were) location was great just off Kloof street with loads of bars and restaurants. Highly recommend.”

“While the place is handsome and well kept, there are serious issues that I encountered that were reported here by others. The two most prominent were that the choice of rooms I was given was either a room with a door that opens strainght into the dining room, or a room with a bath ONLY (= no showerhead... in 2020...). My complaint resulted in the owner explaining to me this the room EXPEDIA assigned to me.... on my second night I moved to a room which was separate from its bathroom, not a great...

“Nach etlichen Stunden Flug endlich in Kapstadt angekommen... erst vom Taxifahrer abgezockt worden (da hätten wir besser vorbereitet sein können) und dann ist das Guesthouse verwaist. Auf klingeln und Anrufe reagiert niemand. Nun hieß es kühlen Kopf bewahren und schnell ne Bleibe finden. Hat zum Glück geklappt und waren dann im Signature Lux Waterfront. Da war es richtig gut und günstiger. Also auch das erhöhte Taxigeld wieder raus. ”
