Excellent hotel, very well located, with outstanding reception service — especially Claudio, who is incredibly helpful and provides excellent guidance. Truly exceptional service on his part.
Perhaps unrelated to the hotel itself, but indirectly connected:
Be careful with the taxis requested through the hotel. I do not recommend booking them this way, as the drivers tend to be rude, do not help with luggage, spend the entire ride talking on the phone, and drive at very high speeds.
When it comes time to pay, they shout that it must be in cash, are very impolite, and charge more than what the hotel tells you. It feels as if the taxi drivers are doing things independently from the hotel.
What seemed strange to us was that before making us carry all our luggage ourselves — since they don’t help at all — the driver went to speak with the receptionist Ahmed, as if to coordinate something, without considering us or offering any assistance.
When paying, the driver told us he had to give a fee to the hotel because they called him. However, when we asked about the taxi at the hotel, they never mentioned this. The ride ended up costing €20 more than the €55 they had told us — in other words, a total of €75. Please be cautious; I suggest requesting an Uber instead.
