I have a mixed opinion about our recent stay. I'll start by saying booking the cabin was easy and straightforward. The 'cabin' met our needs on a basic level and was clean. Other than that we found the posting for the cabin very misleading as we did not have the entire cabin as pictured, we only had a basement level 'quarters'. It was relatively dark with very little appeal. There were few decorations-a couple of pictures and 4 flameless candles, 3 of which had dead batteries. It definitely did not feel welcoming. The small size was not an issue for us being it was just my husband and myself, although the 'bedroom' barely fit the queen size bed. We had to search for toilet paper as the roll in the bathroom had only a few sheets left (we were relieved to find more), and the tissue box (not in the bathroom) was also left with only 1 sheet. Although the cabin was less expensive than the area hotels, it was not cheap and simple, inexpensive things would have made this feel more welcoming ie a bathmat, a few nicer hangers (only a few cheap, mismatched ones were in the tiny 2 closets), decent toilet paper (1 ply provided). The posting lead you to believe you were booking the actual cabin which you clearly are not. From a communication standpoint, although the booking was easy, I never received the email with instructions on the checkin/checkout process which created some angst until I finally reached someone while enroute that day. This was very frustrating = not best review
