This place was ok. Listing was fairly accurate, but hard to capture experience in words. It’s quaint. Does feel like your grandmother’s house - complete with WAY too much stuff. Kind of feels like someone passed away and the family just switched out the locks and started renting without removing any personal effects. There’s even still jewelry in the jewelry box, multiple pairs of boots on the cellar stairs, etc. There almost isn’t room for your own belongings. Also don’t rent if you have allergies - basement is damp and a lot of the furniture and throw blankets are kind of musty. I would not have attempted to sleep on pull out couch d/t dust. Comfortable sleeping space for 4 upstairs but that’s about it. The train is audible as per other reviews. We have family in town and spent most of our time with them and not at the rental. Probably would not have wanted to try to relax there surrounded by all the clutter. Property manager easy to contact and bathroom/linens were clean.
