Perfect beach getaway!
The beach view was so perfect!! Exactly what we were looking for, for an affordable price! The unit we were in ended up having all utensils and everything needed to cook meals. They also provided extra pillows and blankets which was nice and handy!The pull out bed in the living room was new and in great condition (and all of which seemed very clean)! It was also nice because they provided beach chairs and sand buckets to play in the sand (perfect if you have kids as well)! The overall cleanliness upon arrival needed some vacuuming and the counters wiped down, but there was a vacuum and some cleaner so it was an easy fix! We felt rushed out by the Vacasa cleaner at the end of the stay which we didn’t appreciate. Other than that they were very quick to respond when we had questions via text message. Thanks for a great weekend Rock Creek Inn!!

Fun at Rockaway
We enjoyed this condo very much. The beach view was great! It was a nice place to have coffee in the morning and watch the waves roll in. It was clean ans the bed was comfortable.

Location, view, oceanfront, what's not to like!
Having come from the heart of Orange County while avoiding the scorching heat and crowds this place was just a slice of paradise. The furnishings were clean, simple but more than adequate and comfortable. The ocean view accompanied by the kite festival was just perfect The shops and restaurants were just gearing up for the summer holidays. We entered half baked and mildly stressed and left chilled and completely relaxed. I know nowhere else we could have gone and accomplished that it only 3 days.

We really enjoyed Rock Away beach and surrounding area - It was so wonderful to look out the window and the beach was right there. So easy to walk the town and hop right on the train. Great Spot

Relaxing Stay
My wife and I spent 3 nights at the condo. We enjoyed watching and listening to the ocean from our balcony on the 2nd floor. The view was spectacular! Access to the beach was a short walk. Our only suggestion would be providing a bench or stool in the entry area to take off and put on shoes. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Very nice stay
The outside of the apartment complex is being worked on so is a bit shabby but the apartment itself is great: very clean and reasonably well equipped. It's a great location and somewhat more affordable that a lot of places; this made it possible for us.

Overall okay. Nice view. Building was under some repairs… not impressed! Walls are thin, you can hear the neighbours. Poor beach access, even though it is on the water. Updating is needed.. kitchen utensils are getting tacky!

Nice place by the ocean - photos are accurate!
Great location at a reasonable price. You really are right along the beach, and you would land on sand if you jumped down from your balcony. But instead, I recommend using the beach access, which is a 3-minute walk from your door towards the train station. (train does not run that often and only during the day). There are multiple heaters built in to the unit, and it's nice to sit by the "fireplace" at the end of a day of hiking. Walls are pretty thin, but generally the people staying around us in shoulder season were quiet. Plenty of towels for two people, also plenty of beach towels. There were also two beach chairs. Appliance/utensil-wise, the kitchen was well-appointed but lacked even basic kitchen consumables, such as salt, pepper, cooking oil, plastic wrap, or aluminum foil. There is minimal storage space for clothes. Tile floors could have been cleaned better. Management was responsive and offered to send someone in to clean up better, but we didn't take them up on that because we came prepared with slippers and didn't want to have someone coming in during our brief stay. On that note, a place to put your shoes, maybe an over-the-door rack in the entryway closet, would have been helpful, especially since one of the house rules is to leave shoes near the door.

Very good
The property was right on the beach with beautiful views. The property was spacious. The only improvement could have been a thicker mattress and to be slightly bigger. Overall an excellent stay.

Perfect beach getaway!
Stayed 4 nights at this perfect getaway and going to sleep with the sounds of the ocean was exactly what we were looking for. The unit was clean, comfortable, and the owners had plenty of towels, blankets, dishes, cookware, etc. which was great for us since we spent the majority of our time in the area in the unit relaxing and watching/listening to the ocean.

Restful fun
We stayed two nights and enjoyed the location, especially the close view of the ocean but also easy walking distance to the beach, groceries, restaurants, shops, and the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad with steam train excursions to Garabaldi. The property was as we expected from the listing description and photos; it was clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and a pleasant environment from which to enjoy the beautiful view of the beach, ocean waves, and the activities of people enjoying them below us.

Winter in Rockaway
We had a nice stay. The view is great! The place was super clean when we got there, with nice sheets and towels. The bed was very comfortable as well. The biggest negative is there were a lot of lightbulbs out, so the place was pretty dark. I didn't receive any checkout instructions other than time, so I did what I usually do when staying at a VRBO. The location is very convenient for shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, nothing in Rockaway was open in early December midweek even if their signage and websites stated otherwise.

Great place for two adults and a child
An absolutely great location with an unobstructed VIEW! We had a marvelous experience with this condo. The only knock would be the bright outdoor light next to the only bedroom which stays on all night. The thin window blind does not block out the light so it stays very bright in the room. If you need it dark in your bedroom this is not for you.

Overall a nice place to stay
It was a nice place overall to stay. I reserved this for a weekend for just me and 2 of my dearest friends. We were there to get away and relax due to my friend having breast cancer and she is now in remission. We thought it look nice over all things were very clean so that is defiantly a A+. The things that were not good is that the fireplace did turn on but it was blowing cold air and not warm air. The oven has a sign on it to allow 30 min for it to warm up which is fine so we waited 45 min I put our lasagna in the oven and 2 1/2 hours it was still frozen and not cooked. The oven was lit up and had the lights on but it did not cook the lasagna so we had to throw it out and go out for dinner which was not on our agenda. This unit has 1 queen size bed and 1 hide-a-bed. The beds were very comfortable but the hide-a-bed has no pillows to use just sheets and a comforter, I ended up using the couch cushion as my pillow. So I would suggest you bring your own pillows for the hide-a-bed if you are going to use it.

Late honeymoon
My husband and I came to the beach to celebrate our first anniversary..,we had a Covid wedding…The condo was pristine clean.. looked newly remodeled, easy to find, elevator a big help w our age(69)! Enjoyed everything about it!

Amazing views, uncomfortable furniture
The location of this unit is amazing: located directly above the beach, across Hwy 101 from stores and restaurants. This made us excited to book this unit and it did not disappoint in that regard. The furniture in the unit is a different story. The bed is unreasonably hard. The mattress feels like a rock covered by the thinnest pad. The pillows were completely flat with no cushion at all. A lot of our vacation was spent recovering from the previous night's 'sleep'. The living room furniture was equally as uncomfortable. The futon-couch was hard, small and awkwardly shaped. There are 2 chairs that were decent, but not large enough to curl up in.

Amazing view
No fans, except to small ones so at night it gets very hot, bed is way too soft. The placement of the window for the bedroom is in the breezeway so anytime someone walks through or opens a door you hear it very well, this was our least favorite part of the house. Great bathroom could use a detachable shower head. But it was great for our needs. Kitchen nearly impossible to cook in so if you have to go out beware that the town shuts down at 530 mostly and almost nothing is open Tuesday and Wednesday’s. Neither of the TVs works for the super rainy day we had; tried calling the help line with no answer. Well stocked kitchen(but still really hard to cook in appliances are very small), the view is amazing, the chairs for the porch could be a little more comfortable they are just cheap plastic chairs so I would recommend bringing your own. Only one parking so if you have two cars make sure to figure that out. Overall we would stay here again for sure just with different planning ahead of time for food and chairs and go in the winter.

Perfect for ocean lovers
We recently stayed for a long anniversary weekend and couldn’t have been happier. The condo is in a very convenient location for walking to small shops in town as well as right on the water. Rockaway Beach is a great small town and close enough to travel to other towns up and down the coast. Condo was very clean and perfect for two of us, exactly as listed. Property manager was very helpful. Would love to come visit and stay again. Oregon was great!
